Good show, bad castingI like Birds of Prey. I wish I liked it more. I can't think of a more worthy story for a series or movie, and the production value and entertainment factor are high here. But... the casting. It's very Showtime LateNite. These girls aren't great actors, but that's not a problem in and of itself -- a lot of television actors aren't so great. They're just so very un-superhero, it almost makes the show seem like a softcore knock-off. If you're not already a fan, I'd recommend purchasing a couple episodes first rather than the whole season and see how you like it..Score: 3/5
Wasted opportunityI'm a huge Batman fan and I really liked the comic book this was based on so I was excited at the at the idea of Birds of Prey as a TV series. All that said I was hugely disappointed by the WB series. On many occasion I've been be the first person to say the TV series (or movie) isn't the comic book, so I gave it a chance and followed all 13 episodes and while I liked the actors, especially Dina Meyer, even they couldn't save writing which was truly subpar and storylines that were painful pedestrian. The series probably would have hit it's stride if it had gone into a second season but we'll never know..Score: 2/5
Great seriesI am a comic book geek and have always followed adaptations. Birds of prey was great for tv. Here in Los Angeles it was on during basketball season and 2 or 3 episodes were intrupted for the Clippers. As far as I knew they never were rebrodcasted. I am buying it right now..Score: 4/5
Its about timeI can't believe its actually on ITUNES. This show was one of the first that I can actually say, that I was sad to see go after one season. It may not have been one of the best but it defintely was different and had its own charm. Glad to finally have access to all episodes. Can't wait to see it again..Score: 3/5

Butt Kicking ChicksOk everyone let's not be so critical, yes the production is kinda b-rated but what do you expect from comic book based TV-show with no where near the budget of a full screen version. Besides i find hot chicks running in leather pulling extreme tricks very entertaining. But then i was one of those guys atracted to angelina jolie for the same reason. oh well, bring on the action..Score: 4/5

Better than SmallvilleThis is a great show- nothing like a little girl power. I didn't watch because i am more into superman than batman storyline so i watch smallville but this so much beter. Shame about the musicI really enjoyed the show when it was on tv but due to cost reasons when they released the home version they changed most of the music which changes the show and ruins it. They should have kept the orginal music songs/score.Score: 2/5

Batman's Little Girl is All Grown Up.Birds of Prey, takes the character of Huntress, the daughter of Batman and Catwoman (neither two appear in a main role) and gives it a modern reworking. The show is slightly dark and edgy, but the costumes are a joke and look awful. In all round way, its no Dark Knight or Batman (Original Series) but the show makes an entertainig watch. Buy if a real comic book/Batman fan, but other wise you won't care..Score: 3/5
A better spin-off than mostMost spin-offs aren't worth the time if day, but here's one that has genuine charm and appeal. The source material is all there with frequent references to Batman stories (The Killing Joke) as well as flashbacks. The effects are impressive for a show from 2002. Also Mia Sara as Harley Quinn is a special treat. If you liked The Cape you'll be doubly disappointed as (for some unknown reason) this was also cancelled after only one season!.Score: 4/5

I think it actually made my eyes bleedI will start by admitting this review is based on watching the pilot episode, and nothing else. this could be one of the worst D.C. comics to T.V. shows ever. everything felt forced. I have watched programs that are so bad, the are good, but "Birds of prey" only fulfilled the first half of that statment, this program is just wrong, wrong, wrong. 47 minutes I'll never get back. hope this helps. ;-).Score: 1/5
