The end is here and what a ride it was!!!This season doesn't seem like it would be great after a slower 3rd season, but it is as good if not better than the 1st season, but starts right where the 3rd leaves off and gets very very very dark, and the ride doesn't stop all the way to the very end! The only thing I was missing closer to the end was more action with Lee and Kara in vipers, but there is enough drama and action to easily forget it. The episodes not to miss are; He That Believeth in Me (which is kinda a 2parter with Six of One), The Ties That Bind, Revelations, Sometimes a Great Notion, The Oath, Blood on the Scales, Someone to Watch Over Me, and Daybreak 1,2,3! I only wished that Daybreak was even longer for part 2, you'll know what I mean when you see it. Anyway enjoy, it is the end of something great!!!!.Score: 5/5
A Monumental finish to a monumental showThe end of this show is as, if not more, epic and eventful than the beginning. For years this show has been loved by millions and there's a reason for that. It's stunning graphics, acting, and story line make it more than unique. I won't be a spoiler, but the season finale is the best part of the season, and if you get it, you'll know why. I'd recommend standard if you want to buy the full season, but if you just want the really stand-out and amazing episodes of the season, 3 dollars will get you those at an amazing-er quality..Score: 5/5

Great series...hard to watch ending.This show is exactly what the sci-fi genre needed. Other than another great short-lived series (Firefly), everything else is aliens and ufo's, or the crisp, clean world of Star Trek. Don't get me wrong. I love Star Trek, but too many other stories try to emulate it. As for BSG, I watched the pilot miniseries when it first came out. I didn't give it much of a chance when I noticed all the changes, namely Starbuck and the overall look to the show. Consequentially, I didn't watch the first few seasons. I kept hearing how great it was and how it was "the best show nobody was watching." So, I decided to watch the miniseries again through un-biased eyes. It started to grow on me until finally I was watching every episode glued to the tv. Now, I can't imagine Starbuck being anything or anyone else. The battle scenes, which originally seemed cheaply shot, now feel ultimately real and are some of the best special effects going on in television today. Every show has it's ups and downs and bad episodes. Honestly, in this series I can't think of a single one. This last season blew me away. What they did to the characters, especially how they basically ripped Adama apart emotionally, was truly brilliant. It was hard to watch sometimes what these characters went through. Yes, it got very deep into spirituality and religion, and very dark at times. It was sometimes confusing with timelines and histories. I can't think of another show, sci-fi or otherwise, that was as complex as this one. But, these are all good things. Buy this! You don't have to be a sci-fi fan to love it. This show is about people, not technology. Ultimately that is its main strength..Score: 5/5
One of the Best Shows EverThere was little to no surprise when this show was listed as one of the Best of the Decade. I think many fans would agree that it can also be regarded as one of the Best of All-Time. Everything from the cast to the writing to the visual effects are top-notch. Glad to have seen these guys on Inside Media at the Paley Center. Wish there could be more seasons to watch..Score: 5/5

Started out greatThe first two seasons of this show are amazing, and when the third season rolled around it started to lose some of its quality. But the fourth season is some of the worst plot development I have ever seen in a tv show. Multiple plot threads are never explained, and the fact that (Spoiler Alert) "All Along The Watchtower" is a critical part of the plot after the second half of the season is ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned, the show ended after season 3. Don't waste your time or money on this load of crap..Score: 2/5

A Great ShowBattlestar Galactica is one of the best science fiction shows I have ever seen. It has it's share of inconsistencies like all sci-fi, but it has the strongest storytelling and acting of any any show, in any genre, in recent memory. A Great Show. Gutted in its Final SeasonLike many shows with an overarching story arc, Battlestar Galactica tied itself up in plot knots over time. In this case, the writers decided to cut through the knots rather than unravel them. By the time it’s over, major characters are suddenly and inexplicably revealed to be cylons, angels, and ghosts, and what appeared to be great and heroic victories in earlier episodes turned out to be nothing more than the unfolding of a divine plan. The result was, for many, many of the show’s admirers something not merely unsatisfying but more akin to betrayal: Ron Moore promised “naturalistic” science fiction, but ended up delivering us a (literally) Deus Ex Machina conclusion preachier than Sunday morning television. Most incredibly of all, Moore built this season (and one episode of the last) around a song by Bob Dylan. I can hardly believe those words as I write them, but it actually happened. The best episodes of Season Four concerned a mutiny in the fleet led by a junior officer sick of it all. Would that a junior writer had staged a similar but successful mutiny at the writer's meetings..Score: 3/5

It Falls ApartLike anything stretched too far, Battlestar doesn't hold together. After a strong first series, the many story threads worked only to hurt the main plot. Turned me into the fat comic book guy from the SimpsonsOk Before this show came out - I had a normal, healthy love of Science fiction... and actually when I first saw the miniseries I found it a little dull. I mean gosh ...they use real guns not lasers...yawn.... Well 7 years later I now have 11 BSG themed t-shirts, I have gained 50lbs and have rewatched the thing 5 times plus twice with the directors voiceovers. I hang out on the Facebook fan page awnsering questions about "canon" and scolding people who don't like the show. Basicly BSG has turned me into the fat comic book guy from the Simpsons. Thanks BSG. Wow; i'll sorely miss it.First i must say Frak me! What an amazing show and i (along with many others) will miss dearly. 4 seasons really doesn't seem like much, and when i look at the list of them here it does sadden me somewhat however, the ending in Daybreak was emense; sadly itunes hasn't made parts 2 and 3 into one large episode like sky 1 did but i can forgive them for that...just. This show really is amazing, the camera angles, mixs of heart stopping action scenes and heart breaking climaxes really stole my heart, i only hope people enjoy this on itunes as much as they did on television..Score: 5/5
Fantastically BleakTo excuse all the bleating from those who wish to live in some utopian world where itunes gives all its content away for free, may i suggest a trip to Amazon or Play. This programme, from the very first episode has been beyond compare. (apart from the Sopranos maybe) It manages to convey the bleak hopelessness, of what it must be like to be one of the last members of the human race, from the first pilot when they have to leave so many behind having just witnessed the destruction of mankind, To not know for sure that there is a way out for them all, living with the faint hope that they may be delivered, is all beautifully portrayed. this is television at its very best, to label it as just Sci-fi is to belittle the script, acting, production values, and all involved with making such powerful drama..Score: 5/5
Wonderful!!This first episode in the continuation of series four takes viewers into darker territory - if possible - than previously. The despair at finding a radio-active wasteland where they had expected to find the 13th Colony oozes like poison over both the colonial fleet and the rebel cylons. The fifth cylon is (apparently) revealed, though there remains a question mark. For one colonial the despair ends in suicide. 'Battlestar Galactica' has got to be one of the best ever series, and I would rank it up there with 'I, Claudius' and 'Jesus of Nazareth' in terms of acting, script writing and overall conception - also the music is superb! Even my wife loves the show, and she isn't usually into sci-fi..Score: 5/5

PerfectThis show was perfect!!! It's exactly what Lost should have been - a high concept, character driven drama which answered any big sci-fi/ fantasy questions and new when to finish. The final episodes deliver on all fronts, epic, emotional, conclusive and the final shot further increases my love for 'All Along the Watchtower'. Watch this series and for that matter all the previous series, you won't regret it..Score: 5/5

Stunning special effects and one of the best story driven dramas around. Season four has been a hell of a journey and one i am happy to have taken. The plot twists are nail bitingly awesome and surprising but never stupid! Now the Series Hots up!!Had to download this, as the wife managed to cause a clash on our SKY+ HD box and so missed the first 15mins Grr. But this episode goes to show that they havent forgotten about a story, or some real tension which (as in season 3) did seem lacking for a few episodes. Such a great show, shame to see it cancelled.
