On Galactica, divisions begin to appear between those who remained on the ship during the Cylon occupation of New Caprica and those, like Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and Tigh (Michael Hogan), who suffered under the Cylon yoke on the planet's surface. Tigh spearheads the discontent, his faith in human loyalty shattered by the betrayals he experienced on New Caprica. Starbuck, unable to shake off the pain of her long Cylon imprisonment, falls into step with him. After Lee (Jamie Bamber) and Kat (Luciana Carro) fail to settle the simmering rebellion, Adama (Edward James Olmos) is forced to put his leadership on the line to hold Galactica together. Meanwhile, in the Cylon fleet, Baltar (James Callis) plays a slippery game with the Cylons in order to persuade them he's worth keeping alive. When a crisis hits the Cylon fleet and a base ship is infected with a deadly virus, Baltar must prove his worth by volunteering for a dangerous mission..

A Great DramaNot only is Battlestar Galactica the best Sci-fi show in recent years, it is also the best drama on television right now. It has the raised the bar in terms of character development, writing, and special effects for all sci-fi shows to come. Most interesting is that next season, it's fourth will be it's last. It has learned the lesson of a mediocre sci-fi show, Stargate, that just because your show has ten seasons doesn't mean that it is that good, sometimes it is just dragging out the inevitable. Episode 14, 15 and 16 are out of sequenceJust a note to anyone who hasn't watched this show before, the episodes "Maelstrom" ,"A Day in the Life" and "Dirty Hands" are out of sequence for this show. Slower season, very important for the 4th, and still the best...!!!This season seems to slow down at points, but has the best opening out of all the seasons with Occupation to Exodus part 2!!!! I feel Unifished Business is one of the best episodes, if not best, with a strong focus on the characters and Lee and Kara!! The end trail drags a little longer than needed, but this season concludes with a shocking closure, just like the last two seasons. The episodes not to miss are Occupation/Precipice, Exodus 1&2, Unfinished Business, Maelstrom, and Crossroads pt 2, to know what's going on you also need to see The Eye of Jupiter & Rapture, as well as Crossroads pt.1..Score: 5/5

I love it.Several friends of mine kept recommending that check I out Battlestar Galactica. Every Monday morning, groups of people would be discussing the last episode at the watercooler. In 2006, I decided to download the Miniseries just to see what the hype was all about, and I was hooked. The miniseries is excellent, and the TV program doesn't disappoint. Best Sci-Fi Show in Televisin History!Battlestar Galactica is easily, for me, the best Sci-Fi show ever. It may well be the best show, period. A show that covers nearly every aspect of the human condition, the human culture, the human component, and the rise and fall of civilization itself. The only complaint I have regarding the episodes purchased through I-tunes, is that you can't buy the extended versions of some of these great episodes, such as "Resurrection Part 1" from the second season, or "Unfinished Business" from this season. I am hoping that eventually, they will be available for purchase. A great show like this deserves the full treatment for the viewer!.Score: 5/5

Even my girlfriend watches it!Battlestar Galatica (or BSG to its fans) can only be described as a space opera, a soap opera in space. I am a fan of the science fiction genre, but Battlestar kept me interested from the mini series to the final season. My girlfriend, who can be described as one who watches shows such as "Gossip Girl" and "The Hills", was not a fan of sci-fi in the least. But with strong female roles, as well as a riveting story, she was the one asking me to watch the series over. For you guys out there, I recommend testing the waters, and remind them it takes a little while for it to get started, but one it does, I am sure any woman in your life, not only you, would very much enjoy the series. One final mention, the only relation I would connect to the horrible version that was out in the 1970's is by name only, give this "reimagined" series a chance!.Score: 5/5

Where's the first episode?Its great that itunes finally added this season but where the hell is the first episode? The premiere of season 3 is one of the best episodes this season and of the series as a whole so why's it missing?.Score: 4/5
LostThis is undoubtedly the leading Sci Fi Series of this generation, even if it is a little overpriced on itunes at least you can purchase it over several months. What happened to the 3 missing epidodes which is obviously why its not sold complete, by episode only. I wasn't so keen on the episodes set on New Caprica anyway, for me the Series has always been about the fleet, always on the move and not stranded on the ground in a camp, but it would have been nice to know the backstory when watching the Exodus. Exodus Pt.2 for me had some of the best moments of the series so far, and best special effects which really show off the brilliant ipod touch screen. Shame about the pricing - you wouldn't be having a sale would you?.Score: 4/5
Amazing series, but *too expensive*The BG series is one of the best things on TV for years, although you can buy the DVD box sets for a load less money, so why would you buy the lower-quality series from iTunes at a huge amount more?? Amazing Series- i'm eating my hat.I'm eating my hat. After joining the barrage of "too expensive" comments, I went to the high street hunt to find cheaperā¦ but sadly the sales have ended and BSG, 24, x-Files and all the good stuff (apart from Bionic Woman Ā£20) have returned to Ā£35 per season. (Of course you can get BSG series 1,2,3 and MS for $40.) The only benefit of buying a box set is having The Boxes installed in a place of honour in your home. Maybe the lack of packaging alone should allow iTunes to discount at least a little but perhaps we should forgive and justify the expense against the cost of Apple's massive server farms (probably in malaysia) and bandwidth costsā¦.Score: 4/5
