The end is here and what a ride it was!!!This season doesn't seem like it would be great after a slower 3rd season, but it is as good if not better than the 1st season, but starts right where the 3rd leaves off and gets very very very dark, and the ride doesn't stop all the way to the very end! The only thing I was missing closer to the end was more action with Lee and Kara in vipers, but there is enough drama and action to easily forget it. The episodes not to miss are; He That Believeth in Me (which is kinda a 2parter with Six of One), The Ties That Bind, Revelations, Sometimes a Great Notion, The Oath, Blood on the Scales, Someone to Watch Over Me, and Daybreak 1,2,3! I only wished that Daybreak was even longer for part 2, you'll know what I mean when you see it. Anyway enjoy, it is the end of something great!!!!.Score: 5/5
A Monumental finish to a monumental showThe end of this show is as, if not more, epic and eventful than the beginning. For years this show has been loved by millions and there's a reason for that. It's stunning graphics, acting, and story line make it more than unique. I won't be a spoiler, but the season finale is the best part of the season, and if you get it, you'll know why. I'd recommend standard if you want to buy the full season, but if you just want the really stand-out and amazing episodes of the season, 3 dollars will get you those at an amazing-er quality..Score: 5/5

The best show on TV ever, which sadly so few will ever see!I am blown away by the intellect of this show, and the series finale was gorgeously beautiful. Very few shows have ever achieved this sort of exquisite genius, and the final moments of BSG brought it all to a fantastic pinnacle--a religious experience..Score: 5/5
2018 and still selling...It says a lot about BSG that 9 years later, it's still posting good sales at retail prices. CAPRICA deserved more, because the whole 'between' time before the fall and before the second war, that's not covered... and It is full of potential. Even NEW CAP CITY - would make a great Video Game. I am shocked the owners of CAPRICA and BSG haven't come out with VR NEW CAP CITY on STEAM yet - it would be a big seller on Xbox, PC, Playstation. BSG is a solid drama, that just happens to be set in space. The actors are top notch, everything hitting the mark. The writing is good, the F/X still look new and fresh 9 years later. Good SciFi Drama. There is untapped revenue in this franchise. People love it!.Score: 5/5

Great Show - Outstanding!!!Somehow I missed this show when it debued in the 90s. As I am retired now, and most TV isn’t worth recording, let alone watching, I am very happy to have intelligent TV to watch. (It is a bit pricy for the entire season, but a very good show). This show is intelligently written and exceptionally acted. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a compelling story..Score: 5/5

A Great ShowBattlestar Galactica is one of the best science fiction shows I have ever seen. It has it's share of inconsistencies like all sci-fi, but it has the strongest storytelling and acting of any any show, in any genre, in recent memory. Turned me into the fat comic book guy from the SimpsonsOk Before this show came out - I had a normal, healthy love of Science fiction... and actually when I first saw the miniseries I found it a little dull. I mean gosh ...they use real guns not lasers...yawn.... Well 7 years later I now have 11 BSG themed t-shirts, I have gained 50lbs and have rewatched the thing 5 times plus twice with the directors voiceovers. I hang out on the Facebook fan page awnsering questions about "canon" and scolding people who don't like the show. Basicly BSG has turned me into the fat comic book guy from the Simpsons. Thanks BSG. A Great Show. Gutted in its Final SeasonLike many shows with an overarching story arc, Battlestar Galactica tied itself up in plot knots over time. In this case, the writers decided to cut through the knots rather than unravel them. By the time it’s over, major characters are suddenly and inexplicably revealed to be cylons, angels, and ghosts, and what appeared to be great and heroic victories in earlier episodes turned out to be nothing more than the unfolding of a divine plan. The result was, for many, many of the show’s admirers something not merely unsatisfying but more akin to betrayal: Ron Moore promised “naturalistic” science fiction, but ended up delivering us a (literally) Deus Ex Machina conclusion preachier than Sunday morning television. Most incredibly of all, Moore built this season (and one episode of the last) around a song by Bob Dylan. I can hardly believe those words as I write them, but it actually happened. The best episodes of Season Four concerned a mutiny in the fleet led by a junior officer sick of it all. Would that a junior writer had staged a similar but successful mutiny at the writer's meetings..Score: 3/5
It Falls ApartLike anything stretched too far, Battlestar doesn't hold together. After a strong first series, the many story threads worked only to hurt the main plot. Much of the show's appeal was built on what it didn't show the audience; dark, interesting things only hinted at. The more they showed, the less we liked..Score: 2/5

No matter how good it is, I'm watching season 3 first!Have been waiting for *months* for Season 3 to come back on the UK iTunes store (it *was* there once). I would have thought it's self evident that a lot of people are not going to buy this until they've seen the previous season....Score: 5/5
OutstandingVery rarely has a television show captured my imagintion like BSG. Forget the silly name for this is one of the few things it shares with the 70s original. This is a completely different show and goes beyond traditional Sci-Fi. The show is renowned for plot twists and surprises. The gradual revealing of the 12 Cylon models, who look and (seemingly) are like the humans is gripping, right up until the season 3 cliffhanger where the identities of 4 of the Final 5 Cylon are revealed, which is jaw-dropping to say the least (the identity of the fifth in season 4 pt2 even more so). Never underestimate BSG, never try to second guess what's about to happen, what is the meaning of it all, of the chilling words of the Hybrid ("All this has happened before, and will happen again, and again, and again..."), of the shared visions of the Opera House, of Baltar's liasons with the 6 in his head, just sit back and appreciate the imaginative story telling, first class acting and awe inspiring special effects as the story of Humans and Cylons and the journey to find Earth and the 13th Tribe majestically unravels..Score: 5/5
Return to form for the OathFantastic... At last a return to form "Go Cara" one slight problem if you download the HD version be careful as it will not work on many PC's or Mac's you need a 2GHz dual core processor minimum......Score: 5/5

BSGI struggled with S1 S2 S3 and could not see where it was going. I think S4 is good however - and the last 3 episodes are a great piece of work ! The las episode is especially very very good..Score: 5/5
Fantastic!I don't have a Sky subscription, so I'm happy to fork out less than the price of a pint per episode (SD) for this cracking series. BSG has to be one of the best things around at the moment and the series is building nicely towards its conclusion, though I have to confess I'll be sorry to see it end..Score: 4/5
Absolute proof that SyFy was right: the series should have been cancelledSeason 4 is painful evidence that the SyFy Channel was right when it originally decided to cancel BSG after its second season. The show has degenerated into a soap opera, and in this case hi-tech special effects are used to cover up a complete lack of substance, content or continuity. I have no doubt BSG has a loyal fan base, but "high class drama" it isn't. Perhaps the TV networks should improve their pension plan and then we wouldn't have to be subjected to drivel like this, just so the actors can make money..Score: 1/5
PerfectThis show was perfect!!! It's exactly what Lost should have been - a high concept, character driven drama which answered any big sci-fi/ fantasy questions and new when to finish. The final episodes deliver on all fronts, epic, emotional, conclusive and the final shot further increases my love for 'All Along the Watchtower'. Watch this series and for that matter all the previous series, you won't regret it..Score: 5/5

The higher cost episodes are HD not standard tv.Just noticed this after buying all the HD episodes the higher price is down to the High definition version and not the standard version, which if i had known i wouldnt have gotten. going to enjoy this series of battlestar as i didnt really enjoy season 3 (felt it was a bit preachy) but this should last me a while..Score: 5/5
