Hoorah!I was struggling to find a topic for a senior thesis (american history major) and one night I saw Machine Guns - Lock n' Load . . . problem solved! Not only did I get a great primer on the evolution of the machine gun, but this show is really entertaining while being very informative. I bought the whole series just in case I need more great info on other weapons of sheer awesomeness (yes that's a word; how else would you describe this stuff?) Highly recommended!.Score: 5/5
Worth every pennyIf you take a unique interest in the Military you most likely love this show. Gunny adds his humor to every episode and this is probobly what make the show so great. He ads historical information in a way that keeps you interested and focused on key points of the weapons he is displaying. This is a truely great show..Score: 5/5
I suppose I should be glad....that this came out, but when watching this I can't help but miss Mail Call. Mail Call was one of the History Channel's most superb shows and then it just kicked the bucket..... I suppose I should get back to talking about Lock n' Load but really, what's the point? If you liked Mail Call, then you'll probably like this. If you didn't like Mail Call, then you probably won't like this. I personally loved Mail Call, and thus I like Lock n' Load.
