#GleekForeverIt all started on one slow day when I was scrolling through Netflix on a slow day and I came across this show. "Oh, I heard of this before, I should try it."- I said. Fell. In. Love. The storyline, the characters, the music. I was so memorized by its awesomeness. I was just so in love and attached with all the characters emotional. When Kurt cries, I cry. When (spoiler) Jessie betrayed New Direction, I yelled at the screen. My favorite characters are Kurt (how can you not love Kurt?) and Brittany. Sadly, seasons 4-6 were AWFUL! It's so nice to be able to come back to when Glee was amazing and refreshing. Glee changed my life. The show is beautiful, and watching it for at least a whole season will leave you with no regrets! This could have been done in a more professional, kinder, and passionate way than showing your greed. iTunes is starting to show their true colors. Instead of iTunes maybe we should rename it iScrew U. Cory was a wonderful talent, at least be respectiful. Glee Crosses the GenerationsI've been listening to all kinds of music since the womb - 30's and 40's giant musical productions, big band, Broadway, 50's pop, 60's British invasion and folk, 70's rock (I confess - I love disco), 80's techno, 90's - I'm not sure what to define it as, but I was there and now we have Glee. Not since Fame (the series) has a highschool music venue so captured my ears and my heart. The voices are magical, the orchestrations brilliant. The producers both theatrical and musical have together created a vehicle so engaging that anyone of any age group can find something to love. The musical arrangements are incredible re-creating and enlarging upon the original. I must say that although I've never really cared for Madonna, the Glee versions of her music are absolutely mesmerizing - Like a Prayer and Vogue are postively intoxicating through my headset. And Mercedes singing "I'm Not Going..." leaves me in tears at every hearing. As for guest stars, Kristin Chenoweth left me breathless and Neil Patrick Harris was amazing. I've bought the whole series mainly because my VCR comletely gibbled the last half of the season, but really because the combination of visual and audio treats is absolutely delicious. I think I like it!! In closing there is something in Glee for everyone, age group or genre preference nothwithstanding. I'm even learning to love rap. NOT your typical kid's musical show.When I first heard about the show Glee I thought, 'great. another stupid musical.' But this is SO MUCH different than all of those cheesey musicals! The voices are amazing, the acting is great, the people are funny and it's dramatic. It's probably one of the best shows I have ever seen..Score: 5/5
Glee Season 1 ReviewEverything from my glee season 2 review stands the same here, completely the same, in fact, the only difference is that Glee season 1 had a much better playlist and a catchier song selection. with that being said, in the majority of categories they were just as good as the other and therefore my rating is the same for both seasons of Glee..Score: 4/5
