UnknownLet me say first of all, I'm in the middle of season 1 and I fell in love with this show from the first episode. A friend told me about this show. I was sceptical at first, but then I watched one episode and met a character, cough cough Damon cough. I was hooked. I do not like twilight at all! Sorry if I offended twilight fans. But real vampires people! And a lot cuter ones too. This is really an awesome show. The love triangle between Elena our heroine, Stefan the sweet brother, and Damon the bad boy, it's beautiful. If you want a beautiful vampire love triangle. This is it! Sorry for the long review and rant but it needed to be said..Score: 5/5

DamonDamon Salvatore is one of the greatest characters on television. He is mean and sarcastic but once you get past that he has so much love in his heart. He has gone to much greater lengths than Stefan has to save Elena (especially in season 3) and gets nothing in return. He is also hilarious which makes up for Stefan being so dull. The thing that drives me insane about this show is that even after everything that has happened (Damon falling in love with Elena and becoming a better man, and being there for Elena through everything and having his brothers back) the show still tries to force that he is the bad guy and that Stefan is the knight in shining armor. It makes me mad! Damons always there for Elena when Stefan isnt. Stefan is much more unstable and has blood binges and killing sprees and tried to drive Elena off a bridge. Damon was there for her through it all and in season 3 he fought to bring Stefan back to Elena even though he is completely in love with her. And even after all that Elena still only sees the good in Stefan and bad in Damon. It's very painful to watch, especially when you become so attached to Damon and all he's had to overcome and how much he loves Elena. It is a great show but a very tiring love triangle..Score: 5/5
Blah, another moody vampire seriesI guess all moody vampires and their damselettes look petty much the same. Wish I hadn't paid for the pilot. Wah! Heard this was the grown up version. I just found it more depressing than the twilight series..Score: 2/5

Love itI watch twilight, fell in love with it, read the books, fell in love with it. Even though they are both about vampires I don't think that they are comparable. Obviously both authors have different ideas about what a vampire should be and both shows/movies portray this perfectly.
