SeriesThe entire series was great. It was suspenseful, and kept me at the edge of my seat as I waited to hear what happened to the lion cubs, or to the cheetah cub Toto. It is sad to hear that Honey and Red, the marsh pride's dominate female, died. Red was murdered by herdsman who had illegally moved to the reserve, while Honey died by a fatal accident in which the vet tried to save her from. All in all, it was a great series. I wish it still aired in the US, but I can understand why they didn't continue it. At least we can still read the news on Jackson's blog, which gives you detailed information about each big cat in the series..Score: 5/5

Half-tail the leopard and her cub are less elusive. Most days they were spotted around the gorge close to the heart of their territory. The cub is playful, and quite undeterred by the unseasonal, stormy weather. The lions are also posing problems for the Big Cat Diary team. One pride has dispersed, but two impressive new males have moved in. Nearby, a herd of zebras is cashing in on the fresh grazing, which means a lion hunt could well be on the cards.

Kidogo, the cheetah mother, must keep clear of the neighbouring lion pride as she searches for food for her two young cubs. Meanwhile, some lions are killing the cubs so the females come on heat again.
