Why isn't "Dead or Alive" used as the theme in (at least) the Redemption Day episode? The intro this year has been especially powerful & beautiful. The instrumental is fine, but there's just something about "Dead or Alive" with those images. Bet it has to do with copyright & permissions. oh well. Love the new opening sequenceI'm a fisherman who works on a longline fishing vessel in Hawaii I skipper a boats in Oregon and Hawaii. I've worked on deck for 10 years on longliners,dungy crab,brown and red king crab, albacore and ahi tuna boats. I love this show. Alot of fisherman like this show, the opening sequence of the new season is awsome! I wrote this review so I could call out this crane style person! Your review is wack! Do you know how many rules and regs there are to make sure we protect our oceans?! We use sustainable fishing practices to make sure we don't over fish an area! NOAA had observers on F/V to make sure of that!! So next time you wanna call out a whole fishing fleet do your god damned reaserch first!! Keep up the good work guys! This show never gets oldWho would have thought that crab fishing could carry six seasons worth of TV. You have to admire the passion and the determination these guys have to grind it out as they do. Every season brings a new challenge to face. This season has been gripping and I am pleased that the Harris' let the coverage continue under such grave circumstances. RIP Phil Harris may your boys carry on the legacy..Score: 5/5
You were loved PhilThis is a hard season to watch. Don't get me wrong still a great show, but one that has made us realize our greatest fears, the loss of one of those we have feel close to and love. Add in watching Jack, Josh, the rest of Phil's crew and the fleet as they deal with the loss, and it is hard to watch. I cried through the lastest episode as I watch men who have learned to keep emotions at bay (be it by smoking, chewing tobacco, endless caffiene, etc.) being to show deep emotion, that we also knew existed but really have seen. WhereWhere is the 3rd show at? It aired Tuesday evening and still is not available! I contacted Apple about finding out when it would be available and they said within 24-hours of the show. it has now been over 36 hours. This is killing me. Great series but what about season 5?This is the most dramatic reality series on TV. I bought the first 4 seasons of this series but season 4 was split into vol. 4&5 so season 5 is unavailable. I hope this changes soon. Some people are complaining about the coverage of Capt. Phil's death. He wanted it to be shown and said "Every good story needs an ending." Much respect !!!.Score: 5/5
For those who found Cain and Abel wanting ReadI'm not suprised they didn't show his death. As with anyone you want to remember their life not their death. What i would have like to see is the reaction of the fleet to the news of his death. For those of us who have watched the show for years and couln't make it to any memorial service this show was what i had hoped to be a substitute and i think many others were hoping for the same. Online you can find bits and pieces of clips on the website that aren't in the Cain and Abel episode but the majority left me wanting. Maybe we should wait till next week and see if they listend and actually cover the after as this last one covered the before. It even says so in the story summary..Score: 4/5
