...Once you've seen one season, you've seen them all. The show just has a group of people who go tanning too much and will probably have skin cancer by the next season. It's a show where a bunch of idiots get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per episode to act like themselves. It is funny though, seeing the stupidity that comes out of some of these people. Like Slowing Down to Watch a Pile-UpThis show is beyond ridiculous, offensive and just plain idiotic. However it's interesting for many reasons. First of all, its an anthropological study of a sociological group that are outliers from the rest of the party going public. Secondly, the way the characters treat each other and themselves is so unrealistically judgemental one can't help but laugh. The shows success lies in the fact that people in some ways identify with the "Guido's and Guidettes" of the Jersey Shore and can't help but laugh along with their shenanigans, (scripted or not), and serves to better understand something many people dislike, and to understand why disliking someone for the group they end up in is immoral. If you're new to the show I'd start with the first season and skip to the third..Score: 5/5
