Beautifully produced show.0If you look around on tv, there are really only a tiny handful of shows with such understated and yet beautiful production. The photography of this series is at the top of the list. My only issue… the direction of the actors is a little heavy. A little subtle humor would have gone a long way. I understand that humor was not on the menu, but the characters are so heavy at time they need to be snapped out of it. Holder really kept me in it (along with unapologetically suspenseful episode breaks). I recommend this series to everyone..Score: 5/5
Fantastic SeriesThis is the most moving and emotional tv series I've ever watched. The actors are A+ and leave you wanting more from each of them. At least I couldn't wait until each and every scene from each and every actor. It depicts the intricate lives of all sides of a murder. The victims family is shown in a true emotional state the way I've never seen before. More true to life. I keep waiting for season 2 but it never comes. Can anyone tell when it is?.Score: 5/5

The Killing- It Kills Me!The show definitely took awhile to unfold, following the rate of reality. The way the characters deal with pain and suffering is genuine and unnerving. No makeup or frills to the plot. As plain and real as it gets without being a documentary. I love it, especially because there's not a gist of fiction about it. Amazing tv...until Walking Dead returnsThe Killing is an incredibly precise, involving drama with something I haven't seen since The Wire - average people in extreme situations. Nobody in this show is beautiful. It makes Criminal Minds and their fashion runway agents look even more ridiculous. The entire cast - from blue collar dad to smarmy politicos to grunge-castaway teens - deserve Oscars. The acting is simply stunning to watch. My only problem is the very core of the plot: unlike Laura Palmer of Twin Peaks, there's nothing I really like about Suzie Larsen. I don't sympathize with this girl at all and so, ultimately, don't care who killed her..Score: 4/5

Great, engaging seriesSo nice to find a series that takes time to breathe and let things (like the characters, the plot, the sub-plots) develop. If you're looking for a fast-paced, every-episode-a-self-contained-story type of show, you won't find it here. Well yes, it does ask a similar question, but...Twin Peaks asked the question "Who killed Laura Palmer?" and The Killing asks "Who killed Rosie Larson?" Other than those questions, the investigations looking to answer them, good writing, amazing acting and an incredibly gripping start to the series there is nothing else that the two shows have in common. I don't think there has been another tv police drama (or other genre of show) that has had this sort of pacing and atmosphere. The actors are required to act, things are SHOWN, not told, and with such emotion driven characters that takes a lot of skill. It's intense, gripping and addictive. Like potato chips, I'd bet you can't have just one episode....Score: 5/5

Good stuff.Was really getting in to this show untill I came to download episode 5 and found that its corrupt as someone else as mentioned. Nice to see iTunes are on the ball!!! Ended up downloading the HD version of super 8 so I could carry on. Why do they offer solutions that they know wont work?!.Score: 4/5

Enjoyable ;)I found that this show is a bit of a grower, after a few episodes I was hooked... Unfortunately episode 5 will not download, shows an error a way through downloading, so disappointed that I cannot, for now continue watching. I have emailed I tunes and after trying a few suggestions to over come the problem they refunded my money and are looking onto the problem. Not as good as the originalI only watched 40 minutes of the first episode. It follows the original plot quite closely, but is not at all convincing - the acting is not nearly as intense as the original series and the atmosphere is dull. I am not sure what the point of the remake is. Perhaps for Americans too lazy to read sub titles? I wouldn't download this even if it was free..Score: 1/5

Oh no...Less gripping then the original Swedish series. What made the Original "The Killing" stand out was Acting, directing, complex storyline, uniqueness of being set in Sweden and coldness. All of which just seem to be lost in translation. Heed this warning! A "Glossier" less well made version of the Original Series With that said... Run! Flee! From this ubiquitous americanization of original concepts! You American studios/producers stick to making poor formulaic crime/thriller non-sense like Castle, CSI New York/Vegas/Miami, Bones, Medium, Listener, Law and Order, Dexter.....Score: 1/5
