Sadistic!Looks like I'm the only one here who thinks this series was absolutely horrible. I watched "China" and it was OK; I liked to see the people and view a country that has been closed to the outside world for so long. But then came "India" and I was thoroughly disgusted. Close minded or not, I thought the practices of these people to be beyond belief. Yet Karl was supposed to broaden his horizons and be accepting no matter what. First it puzzled me, then it become pure repulsion. The situations Karl was purposely put in and the mockery of him was nothing short of sadistic. The idea that we are to "understand" the world, no matter how different from our own, is simply asking too much. We all have boundaries that we are comfortable with and there is nothing wrong with that. But many times IMO this season crossed them way too often. I really felt sorry for Karl, who ends up as the most intelligent of the lot. Ricky and Stephen have a mean streak and it simply was not funny to see them mock their "friend". With friends like these, who needs enemies? Shame on the producers of this mess..Score: 1/5
Uncomfortable, cringeyKarl doesn' t have the comedy chops to stand alone. Steve and Ricky's purposeful abuse of Karl from afar made me sad and uncomfortable. Somehow, their group dynamics work well together in podcasts/audio, but this experiment (which I was eagerly anticipating btw) fell short of my expectations of providing a good laugh..Score: 2/5
Absolutely Hilarious!Thanks for bringing this to iTunes! However, why isn't the unedited version available? Rating would be 5 stars, if you could provide the full unedited version. So very clever, and smart! Karl's unique view is priceless and touching at the same time. All the while he's "set up" in situations by the mostly unseen Ricky and Stephen. Wonderful...A lovely serieā¦ I feel bad at times for Karl, but at the same time, his views on the world are very refreshing and down to earth. It made me cry with laughter. I will not buy the series on itunes though because I hate bleeped things. If you bleep it you take away half of the charm. I do hope that Karl and his sometimes iffy friends learned somethingā¦ Why is it that iTunes has to decide for us if we want the strong language or not? This is not a program for kindergarten and bleeping it is way off! If there comes an unbleeped version on itunes I will certainly buy it! It's a guarantee for an evening with laughter....Score: 5/5

Censorship and editing ruins itAwesome and funny show, but don't bother buying on itunes or from Science. All the episodes are the censored tv broadcast. Moreover, the episodes edited out the "An Idiot Abroad" commercial bumper leaving out some footage. What a waste. Here's hoping Science might upload AIA the way it's meant to be seen, uncensored and unedited. But I wouldnt hold my breath..Score: 1/5

Karl is the God of dimwitted humourKarl Pilkington is by far the best comedian on the planet vbecause, he's actually talking as he normally would. It's not an act at all!
