Sweet! It has changed the way I perceive American plural marriages and I think any American lady who could actually find a family as sweet and amicable and this family would marry into it. I doubt plural marriages work that way in other countries though..Score: 5/5
I thought I would hate itAs a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I hated that these polygamist sects were out there as an embarrassment to the church that I love. I hated being associated with them and I thought they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. After watching sister wives my attitude has changed. I have realized that not all polygamists are like the FLDS led by Warren Jeffs who is in prison for marrying and raping underage girls. I have a profound respect for the Brown Family for standing up for their religious freedom and beliefs. I have watched them worship and sing from the same hymn book I use and read and preach from the same scripture. Family is number one and it is eternal for us and for them. Our child raising philosophies are alike. Heck, I would love to have them as my neighbors. In a world where gays can marry, where men can sleep around without impunity and father children out of wedlock, why can't a man like Kody Brown have multiple wives? He married adult women who chose him. He takes care of and loves all of his children. I just finished watching the episode where Robyn's baby is born and was moved to tears by the love that is evident in that family. If you want to watch a show full of sex and immorality don't watch this show, because that's not what the Brown Family are about..Score: 5/5
Really?Who in their right mind would want more than ONE wife? This show is just wrong. The idea of polygamy is outlawed for a reason. I feel bad for the children that have to grow up in this circus! Someone call social services child protection!!!.Score: 1/5
Great Show !!!I am in awe of this show, as it has brought to light the differences in everyone's lives and how they choose to live. The Browns may not be your typical poly family, but I am sure that they represent a big part of the polygamist lifestyle. I am not quite sure how they are managing in the four seperate houses at this point, and am very sorry that they had to leave Utah to continue this lifestyle. They show both the ups and downs of this lifestyle, and I commend them for being open enough about it to educate some of us who did not know anything but the bad side of it. I also commend them for being open and giving their children the guidance to seek life in either a polygamist lifestyle or a monogamist lifestyle, and being supportive either way they choose..Score: 5/5
AMAZING...In my wildest dreams i couldn't imaging living this lifestyle. BUT, this show gives an inside scoop to true love and how it is more of a belief than a desire. I love learning about how they live thier lifestyle and admire allow us to view them day to day. A must see for sure!.Score: 5/5
Mind-Blowing Finale!Sure, we all get that Robyn is going to have the baby. But the last few minutes of the show were absolutely captivating. This family loves each other the way the mom/dad household did that I grew up in. TLC really nailed it this round. But the final 90 seconds was breath-taking. Didn't see that coming, and I sobbed like a baby. Season 4: Please start soon!!.Score: 5/5
RespectIm not into that life style but I do respect other peoples lifestyles. I've been judged thru out my life for my mistakes and I always thought how can people judge me when they do not understand what I am going thru? I do respect the browns family because they choose an are aware of there decisions and it's not effecting me in anyway. It hurts to see how they are treated and how they had to leave such a beautiful place utah but I understand it all. I just wish everyone knew the respect I'm giving :-).Score: 5/5

An Idiot's Guide to PolygamyIf four times more girls than boys were born the premise to this show might carry some weight but as it is, one can only wonder WHERE ARE THEIR MINDS? However, all the main characters are very personable although I think some of the drama is manufactured for the camera, i.e., fleeing from Utah to Nevada in the middle of the night and leaving behind their house and most of t heir things for fear of the Utahian authorities. Utah has always looked the other way when it came to polygamy - why should the state now suddenly start caring? I do like the show a lot just like I enjoyed Big Love, the fictional version of this lifestyle. But I do wonder - what do these people do for money? I work from dawn to dusk (literally) at a good paying job and can barely keep a roof over my head - but four roofs? And what does Kody do, anyway? I know they get money from Sister Wives but still four households and all the accompanying expenses - I am in awe. Janelle is my favorite on the show. If any wife left, I think it would be her because she is the only one who can support herself and her family. She seems at the point of tears a lot. And she's quite heavyset which makes me think something is eating away at her and she isn't very happy. I am giving the show 5 stars because it's well shot and the folks are interesting. I don't care what they do with their lives as long as my tax dollars aren't supporting them. But are they worth $700,000K as another reviewer said? Hardly. Their not Desperate Housewives, after all. $70,000K would be pushing it in recompensation..Score: 5/5
