Good but misses the real localTony had to shift some gears but The Layover has lost the best of No Reservations ~ an up-close look and feel of the local culture that really makes a place, any place worth it. Hope this isn't indulging our sound bite, fast food, ADD dispositions..Score: 3/5

To much vulgar languageI enjoy learning about new destination and places to visit when I travel. I was disappointed with all the vulgar language.Score: 2/5
Best travel adviceWhat I loved most is the hard core and real travel advice he gave. What was significant about this was there were segments in the show where they interviewed actual locals and they talked about their city and gave more helpful advice considering they actually live there. Also how he talked about alternative ways of commuting that way there is no need to pull something anything out your *** just to afford a taxi ride. He shows and explicitely states that in Singapore they take great pride in their mass transportation and are cheap, like the $2.00 subway one way trip. Which is one of the many pieces of wisdom he drops on the way while being utterly miserble of the 'continuity' of the whole show..Score: 5/5
Great travel show, but the video was mislabeled.First off, I love the show - nothing wrong with that. But, the Montreal episode was mislabeled as "Hong Kong" when I downloaded it on Dec 29th, 2011. (The actual "Hong Kong" episode was already released weeks before.) Getting back to show - it's a faster pace than Tony's previous show, No Reservations. But this time, Tony only has 24-48hours to visit the place. He often goes off the beaten path at each destination, but typical famous spots are also showcased. There is less contemplation, and more jumping from place to place. That doesn't mean there isn't that wry wit from Tony, but it seems more focused now. It's very nice change of pace from his older show..Score: 4/5
