It's Still A Great ShowDon't listen to all the people saying that the show is terrible without Steve Carrell. People that say that The Office is boring without him, or that the American Version is crap and you should only watch the British Version are whiny hipster posers. The departure of Michael Scott is a huge change for the show, but not all the laughs departed with him, as there is still a great cast of characters at Dunder Mifflin left to explore..Score: 4/5
PainfulThis season is horrible please just end it already. Andy makes a horrible boss, James Spader is a creep, and it's just overall not funny anymore. They should've went with Will Arnet as the manager. And please get rid of Gabe, he is the worse thing that happened to this show ever..Score: 1/5
Best season yet!I bought this with some trepidation since Steve Carrell is gone and was pleasantly surprised to find out the show is even better now. I didn't realize Ed Helms was such a terrific actor until this season, where he plays such a major role. He is more than able to fill Steve Carrell's shoes. I did know that James Spader is a great actor and he does not disappoint here. I am enjoying this season as much, if not more, than the previous ones..Score: 5/5
Jumped the schruteSo disappointing. I know the series has been in decline for several seasons now, but the only reason to continue watching this series is because I grew to love the characters in season 2, 3, and 4. I hate to say it, but I wish they would have ended the series earlier, on a high note. Now I fear they will just peter out with one ridiculous storyline after the next. Watch seasons 2 and 3 and you'll see some of the best writing in TV. It's sad what they've done to some previously excellent characters..Score: 3/5

From a longtime fan; Very dissapointedThis season is very sub-par. It's not the absence of Steve Carell, I think the writers just don't care anymore. Long-time characters have become caricatures of themselves, and the new characters lack any depth. Hopefully NBC will soon put "The Office" out of it's misery and cancel it..Score: 3/5
Hard to watch. The shark, she done been jumped. The Office cast struggles gamefully to perform these horrible scripts, but the writing is on the wall for this one. The final straw for me came when I was expected to believe that Jim would go to the trouble of writing, editing, typesetting, and hard-binding an entire book (on how to throw a garden party, of all things) in order to once again get the best of Dwight. Once anything goes, it's all over. Too bad, but in true American sitcom form they apparently plan to keep beating the horse despite its having given up the ghost when Carell left..Score: 2/5

It still goes onWhen I heard Steve Carrell was leaving I was like, "how is the office going to stay on? They maybe have one more crappy season left without him, but he has been the backbone of this show since '05. This is his show." I watched the first two episodes of season eight with a prejudiced attitude. Then I gave up. Over the summer I started to watch all the episodes that I had missed the previous year and I discovered that they didn't need Steve Carrell to keep it going. You will find that it wasn't just micheals personality that made the office go round, but that it was jims pranks, Dwights insane ideas, andys singing, and all the other amazing personalitys. When u only take one of those away, you still have a heck of a good show. Now season nine is on and I am psyched to see what happens, putting aside the fact that we lost two more crucial people (Kelly and Ryan). But let me just say, I expect there to be three weddings in this final season to leave me satisfied. Angela and Dwight, Andy and Erin, and darryll and Val. I am going to miss it when it's gone. But the legacy will hopefully live on with The Farm, Dwights new show starting mid season about schrute farms. Fingers crossed!.Score: 5/5
