I love love love itI am 26 and have been a Turtle fan since as long as I can remember. I had all the toys and merchandise of the original show and movies, and the original comics. This series does an amazing job connecting to the original comics and series while bringing fresh life into the characters. I was obsessed as a kid and now I must say I am obsessed with this new show. It is a lot of fun and seriously makes me feel like a kid again watching it. I have started collecting the new toys and seriously would get the sheets for my bed if they make them again. I bought the season pass and think it was 100% worth it..Score: 5/5

Very niceA pleasant surprise, the writing is a lot better than I thought it would be and the animation is really smooth. I particularly like the character designs of each turtle because it highlights their individuality, you can actually tell who is who even without their color coded bandanna's now. Overall a very nice premiere, hopefully it only gets better moving forward..Score: 4/5

MisunderstandingAs I find alot of American audiences to either be very familiar with the Japanese style and fans of the anime influence (whether it be comedic moments / expressions or subliminal / overt sexuality) or familiar and not a fan, I feel it my duty as a member of the former to give reasons why. Unfortunately for those who are not fans of the Japanese style of animation, it's probably not going anywhere anytime soon. That being said, American style animation is not going to be completely lost, not as long as we have studios like Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks in the game. With American studios that deal with American properties (like this one) the focus is always going to be on the younger generation. So there must be BOTH: American style animation that appeals primarily younger audiences and a distinctly Japanese air that allows older fans to be drawn in. For a series that deals with alot of physical conflict, I found it to be essential that there were comedic moments. The company working on the studio has their influences to work on, the way the 80's show didn't have the privy to. With the last iteration of the franchise, there was alot of over exaggerated characters (in musculature particularly) that helped define it as fantasy and therefore accessible for a younger audience. With advancements in computer animation and structuring that has developed in the 10 years since, it was time to truly modernize the original vision. Sticking closer to Eastman / Laird's vision while retaining the comedy and action of their origin, TMNT has truly come full circle, possibly to exceed their former selves and shed their ubiquitous reputation as simple advertising devices. Whether it stands the test of time is for time to decide..Score: 4/5
Best of all the series!I grew up watching the original cartoons, and reading the comics. I must say this "reboot" of the series has impressed me quite a lot. Great animations and new look for the turtles, the cast for the voices are excellent! The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that they made April a teenager, which I've been trying to accept, but 12 episodes into the show and I'm still not convinced that was a good change. Also the current henchmen are also taking time to adjust to. I would love to see Rocksteady and Beebop return..Score: 4/5

Very impressed!As I grew up with the original 80's version of the turtles, I was fairly skeptical about this incarnation. However, it turned out to be absolutely awesome. I would give this 5 stars if they would drop the whole Anime-style expressions intended for comedic purposes. I find they are very distracting and clash visually from the style of the series and add a level of silliness that just doesn't quite cut it for me. It won't prevent me from watching, however it is quite annoying. I'm sure they can find a better way to interject comedic relief. Otherwise, it's great! Cheers!!.Score: 4/5

Dude, Amazing.I started watching the 80's version until i saw all the episodes and it got boring. I was so bored, i decided to give this a shot, and it turned out amazing! beautifully animated and has that romantic touch every tv show needs. there is also plenty of embarrassing moments which gives it humor. well done!.Score: 5/5

YOUNG and OLDI watched this when I was young and now have young children of my own. There is enough for me/parents to enjoy and my kids love it. It's become a real sit on the couch together and watch moment of our week and plenty of re-watches thanks to itunes. Highly recommended..Score: 5/5

Turtle Power!!I was worried when i saw they were remaking the turtles again after being a fan of the original series and newer series (which wasn't great looking back) But this series even after the first couple of episodes seems to have it all going on series pass bought and not regretted!!
