Still exiled by everyone but MJ, GG questions if MJ is really her last friend standing, and spends a steamy day hanging with her crush Omid. Mike brings his girlfriend, Jessica, to his family's Shabbat dinner so that she can finally meet his parents, but wonders if she will pass the Persian Mom test, Reza brings Mike, MJ, and Asa to Great Neck for his family's Rosh Hashanah celebration and begins to consider forgiving his grandmother after gaining some insight into her difficult past..

This show is incredibleAs an African-American woman I know very little about the Persian culture and what I did know was very slanted. This show has given me an insight into the cultural and religious dynamics of people from Iran. Most importantly watching the group's approach to addressing conflict is a model that is admirable. To see unforgiveness confronted and then released has helped me see the power of redemption. The episode with MJ and her mom and GG laying bare their issues in a therapeutic setting, cause me to respect this "reality show" Thank you Reza for being the kind of person that we should all model. Someone who can transparently express his feeling, yet offer grace freely. Thank you Bravo for Shah of Sunset.Score: 5/5
