The OriginalsThe Originals is engaging and entertaining. Joseph Morgan is back as the infamous Klaus and he does not disappoint. I loved Season 1 but some episodes were really unnecessary but this happens with the 22 episode network television seasons. I really liked the show but was upset when Claire Holt left the show for personal reasons. It really is not the same without her. Bring on Season 2 but please Claire Holt seriously needs to return. I don't think Phoebe Tonkin should be the only female lead..Score: 4/5

Blood, gore, action, & our favorite/sexy original familyDefinitely a breath of fresh air in this show. Though I am still an avid TVD viewer, I've grown weary of all the teenage drama. This spin off from TVD is more adult/mature and action packed, I thoroughly enjoy what it has to offer especially since its centralized around the Original Family rather than some teenage romance. It has a lot of cliff hangers and plot twists just like TVD and I really like the flashback scenes. You really start to connect with the characters when you see their pasts and struggles throughout the show (I just about balled my eyes out on the last episode with Klaus and Rebekah). I just hope the next season allows maybe a cross over from TVD like they did with Tyler (*hint*hint Caroline). But all in all, it's a great show!.Score: 5/5

Best Thing On TV “Period"I love VD, but it culturally relates more towards Millennials — the Originals seems to be a bit older crowd of actors and mature story lines. The acting & writing is superb. The story is constantly flashing forward (or backward), never apologetic for the bodies left for the sake of good plot. Keeps things fresh. Even fresher than VD, considering the new title characters & setting. I really hope this continues....Score: 5/5
