SherlockThe best interpretation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic character. Benedict Cumberbatch is a phenomenal actor who brings Sherlock Holmes to life. Martin Freeman is excellent as John Watson. Especially enjoyed the Sign of Three episode which portrayed Holmes in a softer light but still maintained his edginess. Next to MI-5, my favorite British import..Score: 5/5
Great S1&2 but 3 ?? & so shot yet 29 bucks?Title says it all. Loved the shows so much! Watched them straight through on Netflix. Would live to buy them but S3 was just 3 ep and was nothing comparable to the storyline in 1&2! No detective work or mystery fun. I kept waiting for it but it never came. I wish they would continue on to S3 to enrich and make it feel complete. Need more Sherlock! Please. But 12 eps not 3 or 6 you know what I mean? Please lower the price for S3. MUST SAY I'M A TAD DISAPPOINTEDThere is a lot to like about Season 3, but somehow it left me a little disappointed. the whole mind castle thing was on the dumb side in Series 2, now they beat it like a dead horse in series 3. Some excellent twists in the 3rd episode, but the ending at the estate was kind of dumb. I know it's fiction but I like some semblance to reality in the shows. I just bought the episodes since it was 15 bucks and didn't watch all the director actor babble. Sherlock became less interesting but Watson became a much more interesting character in this series. And hey, directors, how about a little more Lisa McAllister in the next series! She was hilarious in Series 1 Ep 1 as the assistant and the short cameo in Series 3 was a waste..Score: 3/5
Jumped the Shark...Wow, that didnāt take long. Season 1 was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and by Season 3 itās a waste of time. The only halfway decent episode was number 3, and it had a complete crap ending. Donāt waste your time, especially at these prices..Score: 2/5
A Masterpiece, Indeed!Along with "Downton Abbey," this show is another fine import from across the pond! I never had been a Sherlock Holmes fan, even with the Downey movies, but now I am a huge fan. It is such a good performing cast who give life to great scripts. Well Written + Very Talented Actors (Even Supporting Actors) = Masterpiece!.Score: 5/5
GENIUS!!Just like the character portrayed, the show itās self is genius. They couldnāt have picked better actors to play Holmes and Watson. It brings stories that have been around for ages into modern times with ease. SHERLOCK IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!! I only purchased the episodes, however and iTunes says that to purchase the last bit (the behind the scenes stuff) I still owe $8.02. I think per episode, it was $6.99ā¦ canāt remember though. Iāve now watched all three seasons twice and I would love it if there was a continuation. Disappointing that such a brilliant show hasnāt been continued with any regularity!! I NEED MORE!!.Score: 5/5
