Wanted to like itWeakest season. Don't like Capaldi as the brooding Dr. Don't like his chemistry with Clara. Some of the episodes r awful (ex. The Robin Hood episode which could be skipped & u would miss nothing). The big afterlife tease throughout led to a weak plot twist at the end. Some episodes were so boring I was forcing myself to watch them cause I'm a Dr Who fan just not a fan of this season. To each his/her own. I'm sure some loved it..Score: 2/5

Go SD version- season passGot SD season pass, no complaints. Airs Saturday, downloads Sunday. Quality just fine, 720p plenty good for my viewing. This new Doctor seems darker, moodier and plods into solutions rather than knows the solution. The writing this season at first not meeting my expectations but the recent introduction of "Missy" has me interested but I admit the forest in London and the train in space were different and entertaining. The underlying theme to this season seems to be about someone that has been minipulating the Doctor and Clara which is now pointing to this "Missy", can not say more, spoilers! So far worth the money in SD..Score: 4/5

No Longer a FanOMG! The show is ridiculous & juvenile now. This is by far the worst Doctor! Eccleston, Tennant and Smith brought youth and vitality to this show which helped revive it. Now they're going back to old, cheesy, poor-acting doctors. I am halfway through the season & keep hoping it'll get better....but it's getting worse..Score: 1/5
Not what I expected....At first it's a new doctor and he doesn't flirt. I was unsure at first with this unexpected change however I find with a mature looking doctor he is very youthful--which is a crazy development. I enjoyed the rapport that Matt Smith had with the character of Clara, but this change is pleasant as well..Score: 4/5
Rachel BonneyCapaldi has the anger and ruggedness of Eccleston, the obnoxiousness of Tennant and the quirky mannerisms of Smith. He is everything good about the past new series doctors in one! So excited to watch the rest of the series. Bravo in casting Capaldi! He is perfect and refreshing, bringing new stories and adventures to the doctor..Score: 5/5
First episodeSomething was very disjointed with this first episode. Also I think if they have to make an episode about explaining why the doctor looks older than the previous one, then - right there it should be a warning sign. A bit like, if you have to explain a joke, then it isnât properly funny. Without Jenna Coleman, this episode would have had little strength. I do want the new doctor to succeed, but for the first time since itâs return, Iâm a little worried about a new season..Score: 2/5

Potential never achievedI wanted so much to say that I loved this series, unfortunately I can't. I did like Peter Capaldi. I struggled with the attempt to make it a kids show or an extension of the Sarah Jane adventures. I didn't really understand what the purpose of Clara was and I despised the character of Pink. Iwas completely boring to have Missy return and complete nonsense to have the Doctor visit Robin Hood. I found the writing quite inconsistent. Maybe in the next season these identify issues can be worked out. I like the humour and the scary bits but please avoid the cutsyk kiddy stuff..Score: 3/5

Fine Acting with what was givenThis season reminded me of some of the classic series - that some Doctors were not as likeable as others. Capaldi is a fine actor with what he was given as a character, but it is a far narrower character and one that is only really enjoyable when others need to bail him out. Clara is much more enjoyable as a person than his character, and following her revelations in The Name of the Doctor and The Day of the Doctor, you now have an incarnation of The Doctor that shows her no respect, even though she has shown the importance of her wisdom repeatedly. The other series are more enjoyable..Score: 3/5

ÂŁ39.99!!!!!!!!Im not commenting on the programme as it has not aired yet (cant wait for tonight thought!!!!!!!!!) but come on, ÂŁ39.99 for a HD season pass...... truly mind boggling. There's going to be obvious intrepidation as to how Peter Capaldi is going to affect the audience so to charge that much, for his first outing in the role, Apple and or BBC need to review this before things go pear shaped..... Pricing issue? Lobby the BBCAt ÂŁ4.99 per episode, more expensive than episodes of Sherlock and with a shorter running time, I had to ask Apple about their pricing structure. Apple confirmed that it was the BBC who set pricing and release dates. With episodes available for ÂŁ2.49 on Amazon Instant Video, it's apparent that the BBC are squeezing money from UK based iTunes users on account of it being the most profitable digital store worldwide. My suggestion would be to refrain from purchasing this series to show the BBC their extortionate pricing model doesn't work, and to register a complaint on their website..Score: 5/5

Great seriesIt's been a great series so far with new doctor. Peter Capaldi is certainly going to end up being one of the greats, shame about a. The price of the series pass, and b. The way the videos have been sorted, with the episode being the first and followed by the extra, I thought that was what the use of 101 onwards was for. The filing system for doctor who series past series 5 has gotten a bit of a mess....Score: 4/5
