Dr who 8Listen folks quit whinging I agree that adding the behind the scenes should be counted as episodes,I also remember that the earlier Drs,I am speaking of Ecclestone up to early smith,we had more programmes per season,but due to the Dr who becoming such a world hit,as the Beeb Has to make enough money to support other programmes that need to build audience such as Ripper Street and the Tories continuously cutting the grants they have to charge a little more and due to the cutbacks a lot of truly great programming was lost..Score: 5/5

Season 8 was FANTASTICHere's a novel idea review the show, not whine about the price. If people want to read reviews they review the content, not how much it costs. The price is there, click buy or don't. Nobody cares what you think about the price, what your budget is. Buy it or don't. Maybe layoff McDonald's or Starbucks a couple times a month. Season 8 was fantastic, as is Peter Capaldi. I still like David Tennant the best but maybe if I get 3 solid seasons from Capaldi that might change. Matt Smith got REALLY BORING and in watching marathons on BBC I find his episodes the one I turn away from, especially towards the end. I too was getting Clara fatigue, but Jenna Coleman really brought it all together in Season 8. Of course better scripts helped. I do wish the Christmas Ep was included, but since it never has been, I'll not worry about it. I'm actually going to buy the Blu-ray discs of this not just iTunes (which is what I have every other season on (except season 7 I just haven't brought myself to buy it). Highlights of Season 8 are Listen, Time Heist, Dark Water and Death in Heaven. For me the only clunker was Robots of Sherwood. Capaldi's darker, mature take on the Doctor is so refreshing. I hope he stays on for many seasons!!! Buy Season 8 because it is GREAT!!!!.Score: 5/5
100% PerfectThe first episode is a lot because itâs very long, but the rest are fine. Also, buy it all in SD, not in HD. Itâs identical unless you stare at each pixel. And the plot is great, and Pete makes a great Doctor. Itâs not a 2-part season, but it excludes the christmas special. I suggest waiting a couple months for all the HD episodes to appear on Netflix..Score: 5/5

UHS Khartoum AV ClubWe watched In the Forest of the Night in our AV Club meeting. We really loved it. Itâs scientific and interesting. Itâs scientific because the TARDIS is âbigger on the insideâ and it time travels. Also in this episode they talk about the important role of trees in the environment, and they also talk about historic solar flares. They include real life details like missing children and how kids behave during a class trip; for example, they are taking selfies and talking about the teachers. It is both realistic and a science fiction fantasy at the same time, which is what makes it so interesting. The relationship between Clara and the Doctor is complicated which adds to the intrigue. Finally, it is the relationships between the main characters that are interesting and compel you to watch it again and again. There are a lot of things going on in each episode, which makes you want to watch them more than once so you can figure it all out...Score: 5/5

The Twelfth DoctorSo far, this new season is amazing! Just absolutely amazing! But as much as I'm lovingthis so far, this new Doctor is a big disappointment, considering the eleventh and tenth Doctors. And the announcement of Clara's departure is a buffer, as well. Best series in yearsOkay, so the story with the Moon Baby was kind of awful, and the one with the tiger was even worse, but otherwise this has been one of the best and most consistent series of Who in years. I feel like I can actually watch the episodes on their on merit instead of getting bogged down in whether or not the companion is pregnant with the Doctor's wife etc. I loved Eleven, but hated his arcs. Twelve is just as enjoyable to watch and, so far, there are no bizarre plotlines to take away from that. SCORE!.Score: 4/5

Fine Acting with what was givenThis season reminded me of some of the classic series - that some Doctors were not as likeable as others. Capaldi is a fine actor with what he was given as a character, but it is a far narrower character and one that is only really enjoyable when others need to bail him out. Clara is much more enjoyable as a person than his character, and following her revelations in The Name of the Doctor and The Day of the Doctor, you now have an incarnation of The Doctor that shows her no respect, even though she has shown the importance of her wisdom repeatedly. The other series are more enjoyable..Score: 3/5
Buy the ENTIRE Season Pass in NETFLIX insteadI have been a fan of the Dr. Since the early 70âs and have seen all of the episodes. I really hate to say this but: Save your money, the entire season pass in NETFLIX is only 6$ so donât waste your money on the iTunes season pass. Sure you get all the behind the scenes stuff, but the Christmas Special IS NOT included in this TV series. Unlike the BBC in England, BBC America releases the Dr. Who Christmas Specials as a separate âTV Seasonâ in iTunes - at a huge price to the consumer - without any season number to organise it according to where it should be in relation to the rest of the series and then BBC-America and ITunes re-releases the entire season a while later with the special included, often at a discounted price! For that reason and that reason only I am rating it with 1 star.. otherwise the BBC UK (Not US) has done a wonderful job with this show - long may the Dr. reign supreme..Score: 1/5
No Longer a FanOMG! The show is ridiculous & juvenile now. This is by far the worst Doctor! Eccleston, Tennant and Smith brought youth and vitality to this show which helped revive it. Now they're going back to old, cheesy, poor-acting doctors. I am halfway through the season & keep hoping it'll get better....but it's getting worse..Score: 1/5
Not what I expected....At first it's a new doctor and he doesn't flirt. I was unsure at first with this unexpected change however I find with a mature looking doctor he is very youthful--which is a crazy development. I enjoyed the rapport that Matt Smith had with the character of Clara, but this change is pleasant as well..Score: 4/5

A new DoctorCapaldi brings elements of a new perspective to the Persona of the Doctor, while somehow making me feel nostalgia for the Pertwee era. His take on the character is darker, less reliant on the opinion of others and has a grim humour that will appeal to much older audiences. I hope the skilful writing and continued character development continue throughout his new series. As for the priceâŠ..it seems expensive, but nobody is going to make you pay if you dont want to...Score: 5/5
