The Flawless ShowIt is very difficult for me to review this show. Generally, reviews need to allow for a necessary amount of critique. But Gravity Falls is perfect in every way. Only two other programs (The Last Airbender and Steven Universe) come close to rivaling how well done this show is. The story revolves around two young twins, named Mabel and Dipper and their adventures over the summer while they are visiting their great uncle Stan. While their, they make friends with plenty of interesting people like Wendy and Soos while also sparking some rivalries against Those such as Gideon and Bill Cipher. That summary is only the tip of the iceberg. There is too much to talk about involving the plot in Gravity Falls. But, what I love about this plot is everything in it. The diegesis (setting of the show) is well constructed and full of wonder and mystique. Secrets are hidden around the setting to suggest various things that may come to pass later in the series. Everything is well connected in some way. The feeling that emanates from this show is also awe-inspiring. As there are more episodes, you can't help but see improvement in this feeling. The perfect season 1 of Gravity Falls that generated such an astounding theme of mystery and wonder evolved into the god-like season 2 that made this feeling even more prevalent. The concept is also well thought out, taking full advantage of it in the process. And then there are the characters. Wow. While a show may have good settings, great ideas, and even better feelings, the characters are what make the show. And Gravity Falls more than certainly delivers. Each character is masterfully crafted into feeling real. From the optimistic Mabel to the seemingly mean "Grunkle Stan", ever, and I mean every, character is developed and given some major place within the show, even Terry (Git em', Git em'). Their are no good words to describe the powerful emotions this series can bring, such as in the episode, Not What He Seems. Even so, the story is able to bring forth a light-hearted hilarity to the show without overdoing it or adding in blatant, immature sex and "fart" jokes. All of the characters are able to successfully convey this comical and emotional side, with the series even actually making crying in the cartoon look serious. This review is rather short and doesn't cover the depth that the series has to offer. But there is one character I want to single out. And that is Bill Cipher. Bill Cipher, voiced by the series creator Alex Hirsch, is the main and over-arching antagonist of Gravity Falls. But guess what, he only appears, in person, in TWO episodes. Two. So how could Bill be the winning factor of the series? Besides being excellently written and voice-acted, Bill has this presence that can be felt throughout the series. He doesn't need to be there. Throughout the series, his form (a triangle with an eye in the middle) appears everywhere. It proves that Bill is watching ("Bill is watching" is sort of the motto for Bill Cipher). In rather fun episodes, you will almost always be greeted with the occasional triangle that looks like Bill. It is amazing. There are some who think that this series is stupid or evil. I tell you, they are wrong, completely and totally. Some will say that rather immature characters like Mabel or Soos can be a nuisance and that they take away from the series. What they don't understand is that Gravity Falls would never be the same without them. The show needs these types of characters. Some will say that the premise is stupid and clichéd. They have obviously no idea what amazing writing and story are when they see it. But the biggest contention some have with Gravity Falls is its frequent mature themes. They complain about the occult symbols and scream Illuminati whenever they see Bill. They are the ones who get annoyed when one of the characters begins bleeding a few drops of blood or any violence at all occurs. There is one flaw in their argument. Any good show needs some form of maturity. Why do you think that Disney channel shows have gone down the drain? It is because ALL of their shows except for Gravity Falls and maybe Phineas and Ferb have turned themselves into mindless mush. They choose not to portray anything that might cause anger among part of the public. Gravity Falls's use of the occasional mature idea or occult symbol (which are more or less made fun of by the way) is what makes it so darn good. I will now rap up this lengthy review. I couldn't recommend this show enough. Alex Hirsch is a creative mastermind and has created a beautiful and emotional show that any normal human could enjoy. Oh, and Bill Is Watching, Trust No One, and Stan Is Not What He Seems..Score: 5/5

Kids and I love it!We have started watching these since they were offered on a plane ride, and now we can’t stop watching it. Now that we know what Stan is about, we want to rematch everything and see if there are any clues around. My girls of 5 & 9 keep on guessing and predicting what will happen. Yuck gravity fallsMy brother he loves gravity falls when I mean he loves it HE LOVES IT!!! I only like to watch it once or twice but like he seen every episode over ten times.Thats all my brother watches is gravity falls he like memorized like the script. Gravity falls gets boring after you watched like a million times 😂😂😂. Plus it's a really weird show. but if your into really weird things and wasting money, you should buy the series or whatever you do. I really wish I could give gravity falls one star. Gives Life Back to DisneyLet me just say, Disney is doing horrible in ratings. We have those crappy shows that have laughing every 5 seconds, it's too clean, with crappy SFX and plots. Except for Gravity Falls There is something about this show that I can't really point out It's WAY different from other Disney shows 1) has a plot that you HAVE to follow 2) the creativity of the characters and mysteries 3) THE THEORIES AND SECRETS AND MYSTERIES I SWEAR THAT IS AWESOME 4) how everything connects and foreshadows This is my 1st fandom and gave me 3 billion Fangirl heart attacks :) Cast is very nice, animation is amazing In my opinion, only good show on Disney..Score: 5/5

Well I'm a little late on the review but ...Ok this cartoon is a breakthrough. It is innovative, it is hilarious by all means I love the weird comedy, the animation is top notch, the characters are all intriguing, depth has been steadily built throughout the 3 seasons,and the overall plot/story is one for the ages. A very well written and thought out show, you can tell Alex Hirsch outdid himself with this one. Top episodes: Scary-Oke, Into The Bunker, Society Of The Blind Eye, Northwest Mansion Mystery, and Not What He Seems. I'm 19 years old and I love this cartoon..Score: 5/5
Wow Disney.....Wow........I used to LUV GF. But now....After Northwest Mansion Mystery, I AM OBSESSED!!!!!!!! I believe there was about EVERY character besides the main villains.I did some shipping! Garious,( Grenda snd Marious) and Dipifica ( Dipper and Pacifica) THEORY TIME! There is still a little Bill left in Ol' Pine Tree! Mcgucket said the end of the world was coming.
