Crazy for climbing Meru. Crazier for Filming it.Meru was so much more than I expected out of a climbing film. I’m not a climber and personally think many of them are borderline crazy. This movie is confirmation that indeed, climbers are insane. What they accomplished is nothing short of remarkable and the fact that they filmed the expedition while on a massive exposed windy rock in 0 degree weather is a testament to their incredible ability as alpinists, filmmakers, and dedicated teammates. I laughed, almost cried, was blown away by the cinematography, and definitely do NOT have any desire to climb Meru after seeing what they went through. Its amazing. Well done Meru Team!
