If only Aston Kutcher acted like FassbenderWonderful film, I loved the format. I am not sure why I didn't watch this when it came out. But it was very entertaining. I have no idea what is accurate in the film. In fact no one does. Not even the real people. Because memory is a very tricky thing. PonderousI hope one day someone writes a movie about Aaron Sorkin and his love affair with cocain. I'm so tired of people feeling a need to focus on Steve Job's flaws. We all have flaws for Christ's sake. No one care. We would however love to see a movie about Jobs that celebrates his genius. Why can no one seem to get this right?.Score: 1/5

Stellar PerformancesI find it humorous to see that this film is being most criticized by people who want to continually see the same thing every time they see a film based on a real person. Granted, I was expecting something totally different when I sat down to watch it for the first time. But what I saw when it was over was a real story about a real man. I saw a movie about a man who was broken, but wasn’t lost. Indeed all who wander aren’t lost. It was about his human journey and how I believe he was indeed a changed man at the end of it all. With stellar performances by an excellent cast, with a script that had to do with the real things of life, with a message that I think most of us can relate to, I would gladly recommend this film to others. Who knows, you might walk away thinking about things in your life situation….and isn’t that kind of what some stories are supposed to do?.Score: 5/5
“Lousy Job!”That’s both my opinion of this loser film and also, obviously, the mindset (regarding Steve Jobs) of everyone involved in the production . It stinks because of gross inaccuracies as well as a tedious script with constantly irritating and unbelievable actors. I agree with every one of the 1 & 2 ⭐️ ratings and reviews. A complete downer and stinker of a film that completely missed the opportunity to acquaint audiences with the many facets of a complex and evolving visionary..Score: 1/5

Great “inspired by” 3 act play, but bad movie biopicSeen as a 3 act play -inspired by parts of the life of Steve Jobs- this is a wonderfully ACTED movie. Unfortunately, Aaron Sorkin took way too many artistic liberties in his screen play, and as a biopic of Steve Jobs, this is a very poor movie. It’s played out in 3 scenes set in 1984, 1988, and 1998 and the same two themes are repeated in various forms: Steve was a difficult individual, and he was a bad father to his daughter Lisa. Unfortunately, the movie’s commitment to these two themes is so complete, that the screen play shows very little else and goes as far as distorting events/dates to fit this narrative. It’s also worth noting that this movie completely ignores the 1998-2011 period in his life, which is actually the period that offers the most evidence against the two themes presented in this movie (they did not fit the narrative). To not even mention Steve’s later life with wife, kids, and even Lisa clearly shows how the makers of this movie wanted to portray him. So watch this as a wonderfully acted 3 act Sorkin play that was inspired by a very limited interpretation of Steve’s life. But don’t think you’re watching anything even close to a more encompassing and fair biopic of Steve’s life. For that, read the book by Walter Isaacson..Score: 2/5

Great Movie!I found this on the net, and like a good boy, I must pay for what is good for me. I wish there was more unique stuff of this calibre. Stuff that veers further from the genre tropes of today's short-sighted Hollywood pleb-banking. This is a really great movie which pits a man against the expectations of common decency as he strains to avoid any chance of professional failure. Both the man and the decency are shown in exacting ways through outstanding dialogue and very little else. In the end the good guy wins. The bad guy (a world without iphones) loses. Steve JobsSteve Jobs was a visionary and saw the future of computers long before computers became something almost every household owns. He not only wanted to make them easy to use but also to look cool. From the first computer to today's iMacs, iPads, iPhones, etc. Anyone that owns an apple product knows how good they are. This movie shows a different side of Jobs. His peersonal life didn't seem to have the smooth lines Apple products do. Jobs initially denied he was the father of a child and his relationship with the woman who claimed he was the father was very strained. Jobs was a numbers man and sometimes those numbers came back to haunt him. From his firing by Apple's board of directors, the rift between Jobs and Steve Wozniak, the comapny they founded, to being rehired by Apple when the company was on the verge of bankruptcy, Jobs her persevered. Jobs made Apple the most successful company in American history. He also replaired his broken relationship with the daughter he had denied being his. Although the movie may not be entirely factually accurate, it's still a terrific movie..Score: 5/5
SuperficialityI read the bio written by Walter Isaacson prior to viewing this movie. It is always better to have details when in need. They could have done better with a different cast, especially Fassbender and Jeff Daniels. Fassbender should have portrayed Scully. I found the film light in content right from the beginning and lacking of important factors. There were a few moments I agree but overall this should have been an 8 hour mini-series instead of a 2 hour movie. There is so much to say about his ideas. He was focused, raised in a suitable environment and being there at the right time helped greatly. I do not think that he was of a genius but surrounded with mind like people that stimulated his persona to flourish in the proper direction with strong principles. He knew about his advantage and fully embraced it. Making a movie about 3 launching is like giving away 3 backstage passes to witness something we do not care about..Score: 3/5
