So overrated. Best Picture? Seriously?Some of the acting performances were decent, I guess, but what passed for “understatement”, in my opinion, was bland directing. Similarly bland and uninspired was the musical score. Sounded like they ran out of money and had someones cousin do the music. Unbelievably amateur. What a boring film based on such a scandalous and intense story. A great example of a far superior exposé film was Sidney Lumet’s The Vedict. That film left me feeling something.
