It's a fun movie.Listen, this movie isn't about to win any oscars or feature acting that will rip your guts out and make you think deeply about your life. But if you remember, that's not what this romantic comedy genre is really about (it's almost as if people don't remember that some movies are made to be lighthearted and kid friendly). This is a really clean movie for a PG-13 rating first off, you could probably watch it with your older kids. It has some great messages about life and family...and honestly, it's pretty consistently funny. People are being way too hard on this movie. Take it for what it is and have some fun...it's not as good at the original (few are) but it has the same essence and I honestly enjoyed it..Score: 4/5

Fantastic movie!!Loved the sequel! I'm part Greek and was raised Orthodox so I certainly relate to much of the movie. I enjoyed the story of long lasting love intertwined with the various stages relationships move through. I also though it was fantastic to have the entire original cast back together. One thing that bugged me in the first and also in the second is the use of the wedding march in church. I understand for dramatic purposes the reasoning, but an Orthodox choir would have been truer to the ceremony..Score: 5/5

AWESOME!I loved this movie. I loved the original. It honestly feels like you are visiting an old family friend that you haven't seen in years to catch up with what is happening in their lives. I find critics don’t know what they are talking about. All they care about are arty or gritty films. Or films filled with so much profanity, nudity and sex that pretty much everything else disappears. If you are looking for a movie you will laugh through, or make you feel just plain good, then watch this!.Score: 5/5

No point in buying a sequel without the first movie!!As of last week, all 3 My Big Fat Greek Wedding movies were available for purchase, but I was not ready to buy then. As of today, Oct 2 2023, I went to buy all 3 movies. but now the original My Big Fat Greek Wedding is no longer available for purchase.
