The story follows a one-time bullied geek who grew up to be a lethal CIA agent (Dwayne Johnson), coming home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, he enlists the help of the former "big man on campus" (Kevin Hart), now an accountant who misses his glory days. But before the staid numbers cruncher realizes what he's getting into, it's too late to get out, as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shootouts, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than he can count.

Action and comedy packed!This movie was incredible. I took my kids on a ski vacation and we were planning on renting a movie each night we were there. We rented this movie the first night and didn't got back to the red box! It was so incredibly hilarious and although the combination of two The Rock and Kevin Hart could give the impression that it might be overrated, it went beyond my expectations. Stupid FunnyThe story is so idiotic that you wonder why this film is made at all? Gunplay that nobody gets killed, jokes that are mean, action is limited being wrapped around a horrible script. Léta o sobě neslyšeli, ale nyní se „potkali" na internetu a následně také fyzicky, v hospodě, kde chtějí zavzpomínat na staré dobré časy. Bob Calvina ohromí nejen svou vypracovanou muskulaturou, ale také informací, že jako elitní agent CIA pracuje na těch největších světových případech. Stále ohromený Calvin u sebe nechá Boba přespat, z čehož se vyklube kardinální chyba, protože hned ráno Calvina doma překvapí trestná výprava Bobových kolegů.

Slovenčina Bob Stone (Dwayne Johnson) bol na strednej škole malý, nepopulárny a šikanovaný tučniak na rozdiel od Calvina (Kevin Hart), ktorý stál na úplne opačnej strane stredoškolského potravinového reťazca. V Calvinovom prípade však už ide len o spomienky na zašlú slávu, lebo dnes sa zožiera na zle platenom mieste účtovníka a sleduje ako mu život uniká pomedzi prsty. Bob a Calvin sa dlhé roky nevideli, až na seba narazili na internete a neskôr sa stretli v bare, aby si zaspomínali na staré dobré časy. Calvin je šokovaný nielen z Bobovej novej kulturistickej postavy, ale hlavne z toho, že Calvin je elitný agent CIA a rieši tie najzamotanejšie špionážne prípady sveta. Calvin nechá starého priateľa u seba prespať, čo sa však ukáže ako zásadná chyba, lebo hneď ráno vtrhne do bytu trestná výprava Bobovych nazúrených kolegov - agentov, ktorí idú svojmu partnerovi po krku. Podľa nich je totiž Bob namočený v prípravách na teroristický útok!
