A struggling NYC artist, John Hollar (John Krasinski), is forced to return to the small, middle-American town he left behind after learning about his mother’s illness. Back in the house he grew up in, John is immediately swept up in the problems of his dysfunctional family, high school rival and an over-eager ex-girlfriend as he faces impending fatherhood with his NYC girlfriend (Academy Award Nominee Anna Kendrick, 2009, Best Supporting Actress, Up in the Air). John Krasinski’s second feature as a director is a poignant look at the bonds of family and friendship.
Aspiring New York City artist, John Hollar returns to his Middle America hometown on the eve of his mother’s brain surgery. Joined by his girlfriend, eight months pregnant with their first child, John is forced to navigate the crazy world he left behind.

Beautiful MovieI am so happy I did not listen to the reviews. This was a really beautiful, believable and touching movie. I could really relate to this movie on a personal level along with a wide range of emotions. I hope people will go see it. Great director debut John Krasinski! And amazing job by the cast. Must Watch!The reviewers got this one wrong. I saw this movie in a full theater and everyone, myself included, felt the full range of emotion this film offers. Krasinski hit the nail on the head with this one. You will see yourself and you will see your family as the movie unfolds.
