Life Movie Reviews

  • Great sci fi!

    Very tense movie!
  • Slightly decent

Hollywood is just trolling us now. If it weren’t for the likeable cast I would have avoided this movie. This movie is nothing more than an hour and forty eight minute Rick Roll. Even the ending was completely phoned in.
  • ???

Boring. Not what I expected. Spinoff of alien. Not good at all
  • I was worried where the story was going...

...but thankfully everybody died in the end. Bravo!!! P.S. Spoiler alert :)
  • Lousy

    Save your money
  • Not great

Huge disappointment. Figured out the ending in the first five minutes. Characters behave in completely unrealistic ways and the whole thing feels copycat and lifeless. Avoid.
  • One of the biggest wastes of money!

I can't believe they managed to get such a wonderful cast for something so horrible. This is a complete waste of time, it maybe has 15 minutes that are interesting but once the fear factor kicks in it's just a terrible, super predictable piece of lettuce. Don't waste your money, go rent Alien Covenant or another one of the originals instead of this B movie.
  • I beyond hate it

Dreadfully stupid and not worht anyone's time. I don't even know what I just watched after I gave up half way through movie. One of the character's accent is so heavy (no subtitles) that I could barely understand what she meant to say. The script has a lot of holes in it and it's just a pointless movie about nothing. I didn't believe all other reviews cuz cast was so good but they were right, terrible.
  • Alright For Being Totally Predictable All The Way To The End

Typical Alien trying to take over humankind movie. Unfortunately some of the accents, especially one female, was so thick I ended up putting subtitles on to understand what the heck she was saying. It didn't matter, nothing she said was very interesting anyway. It started slow but the first death was pretty good then it was just waiting to see how soon everyone dies. It seems they tried to be clever at the end but it was pretty obvious what was going to happen. Wasn't really horrible but wasn't something I would add to my library or watch again.
  • Much Better Than Expected

No this movie isn't terribly original. Yes, you can see similarities to 'Alien'. Then again, I always thought 'Alien' was a blatant ripoff of 'It! Terror From Beyond Space'. That particular movie came out in 1958. You know. Spaceship lands on an alien planet. Spaceship leaves. Oops, something got onboard. Let's seal, it in this compartment. No, this one. Let's fight it with fire. Let's blast it out in space. Only one survivor. That being said, I still enjoyed this movie. I like Jake and Ryan. The life form was particularly interesting. Effects were good. Couple good creep effects. To those that hated it, don't watch it. Better yet, get off your high horse and relax.
  • Smart starfish takes over the world

The writers basically ripped off every space movie of the last 30 years. Terrible.

  • Good Movie

This movie was really good there was a thriller to it where you didnt no what would happen next in my opinion they did a good job 👏🏼
  • The trailer is better then the movie.

    Ronin Sherpa
Yuck. What a waste of time. Don't... just don't. I can't even find the energy to desctibe why it's so bad. Just don't.
  • Beautifully Put Together

I thought this was a great movie plot with a surprise ending to remember. If you're a big si-fi movie buff then you've probably seen similar plots. People are complaining in the reviews, but seriously what movie plot could you write today that's 100% original? I thought it was original and interesting enough to stand on its own. If anything, I thought the title could've been more thought out. If they make a part 2, I'd like to see the special effects enhanced. Well worth the rental for me. If I didn't already rent it, I'd buy it.
  • Well...mhhhh

So how many ways are gonna tell the story of murderous aliens? He has to kill us to survive- uh no.. Seems like any movie that has aliens is either killing us or so corny no one cares. Only thing I can say is...mhhh...
  • Rubbish

Dont waste your time let alone your money. So bad that I couldn't finish it. Nothing good about it at all. Nothing.
  • Disappointing

While the movie was visually realistic, enjoyment requires the suspension of belief on multiple levels and the suppression of one's "wait a minute..." response. Sadly, the story brings nothing new to the alien-gets-loose-on-a-spaceship genre. Give this one a skip, and go watch "Gravity" again.
  • No effort

Expects us to suspend any logic or common sense. Actually rooting against the crew by the end it.
  • Suspenseful!

I don't understand, I must have watched a different movie than these 1 star reviewers. I was on the edge of my seat throughout this movie. Reminded me of the first time I saw Alien. Special effects were very gruesome to watch. A suprise ending topped it off!
