NOT THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE ENDEDWolverine was not suppossed to go out like that. Too much profanity and I did not like that Wolverine had a daughter, it would have been better if he had a son, and if he lead the children in Eden. Too much violence for young children too. Good conclusion to Wolverine’s storyThe movie doesn’t have as much action as people say it does. They focus more on the emotional state wolverines is in after all his friends and mutants are gone. How they got there isn’t entirely explained. The movie at times feels slow and dragged out. The ending was good. But the villain is quickly forgettable and defeated quickly. I feel like they could of done a lot better with the ending, but overall it was a good movie.Tjutah2016Score: 3/5

LOGANI enjoyed this movie, I have watched it several times to date. I believe that this is Hugh Jackman’s greatest performance of Wolverine. I’m glad that Logan went out on top. It’s gonna be hard for the MCU to replace Jackman as Wolverine.XmenfreakScore: 5/5

My ReviewEver since I was a little kid, I loved superheroes and their movies. Watching the 2000s Spiderman movies was one of my favorite ways to pass the time, and other films such as X-Men and Iron Man were no exception. With the movie Logan, the X-Men franchise had finally reached its turning point 17 years after its first film. Logan followed through on the franchise’s trend of making R-rated films, following 2016’s Deadpool and is able to have a wonderfully harsh story to boot with it, too. Logan is also able to prove almost single handedly that movies based on comic books shouldn’t be ignored when it comes to worthwhile stories. Logan features a much more darker story in comparison to its predecessors, and at certain points downright depressing if you watched the previous films or care for the comics. The concept of Logan suggests that the struggles and adventures of the previous protagonists in the earlier movies had been rendered pointless, as all except for Wolverine and a small handful of mutants had met their demise only a few years prior to the semi-dystopian year of 2029. This concept is something that the film does incredibly and would be picked up on by any movie goer. This accessibility is another one of Logan’s highlights, and only adds onto the list of things superb about it. However, like everything in life, Logan is not perfect, and people will have issues with the movie after watching it. The villains in Logan do leave something to be desired, and sometimes feel like downright filler, but despite this, they do add tension to the film, leaving them as somewhat divisive..Brturo EeleonScore: 5/5

Sentimental, sad and ultimately depressing.After reading reviews with headlines like “best of all,” “amazing” and the like, plus broad critical raves, I thought I’d buy the movie outright. What a mistake. I’m not sure what this movie was about in the end. A way to wrap up Jackman’s role so he can finally walk away from Wolverine? An attempt to make a superhero movie with some semblance of character depth? Maybe. Ultimately it is mostly boring sentimentality with some extra gore thrown in to make it “gritty,” whatever that is supposed to mean. It’s hard to take any comic book superhero movie seriously, let alone a movie with so many obvious plot devices. I won’t give them away, but the external journey or plot events should complement the inner character journey, not be obvious events to “show” character traits, as was done throughout this movie. Most of the results are telegraphed well in advance, and I ended up mumbling to myself, “Ok so this will happen next,” and it did…every time. I guess it’s a fitting tribute to die hard fans of Wolverine that didn’t want the series just to stop making new movies with tired actors. IMO, a movie should have some point, other than to provide an “out” for an actor(s) that have played the role long enough..DillusionedScore: 3/5
