ClicheYes this is a British film, however it is very similar to the cliche romanticized biopics Hollywood puts out. The characters are more plot devices than people and many of them including Turing are different than their real life counter parts. The script is filled with cheesy lines and quotes as well as anachronisms. People think that scripts with nonlinear structures are well written. In this case the nonlinear structure supports the cliche that isn't true of an inventor loving his creation more than people. It's not a horrible film, just very inaccurate and the inaccuracies support tiresome unrealistic cliches. I'm fine with dramatic license but the story should still be realistic and believable. This movie has too many moments that clearly didn't happen and detract from the film. A perfect example of how just because a film gets you emotional doesn't mean it's well made.RiddlerrulzScore: 1/5
A Great Inception Story of A.I.I am a huge technology advocate and I strongly enjoy and believe in the idea of Artificial Intelligence and this movie is a fantastic illustration of how the concept of AI came about. I loved Benedict Cumberbatch's performance as Alan Turing. By far one of my favorite movies of the year. Namiesto páchateľa tohto zločinu však v putách odviedli samotného Turinga, ktorý bol obvinený zo sexuálneho deliktu a čakal ho zničujúci súdny proces. Takmer nikto zo zúčastnených nevedel, že ide o vojnového hrdinu, ktorý sa spolu so svojím tímom podieľal na prelomení kódu legendárneho nemeckého šifrovacieho stroja Enigma. Kód Enigmy rozpráva príbeh matematického génia, ktorý vďaka svojmu úžasnému talentu pomohol skrátiť 2. svetovú vojnu a zachránil tak milióny ľudských životov. V septembri 2009 sa britský premiér Brown v mene vlády Alanovi Turingovi ospravedlnil za všetky neprávosti a 24. decembra 2013 mu kráľovná Alžbeta II. udelila kráľovskú milosť.

Turing se je s pisano druščino strokovnjakov podal v napeto bitko s časom, a uspeh, ki ga je nazadnje dosegel, je moral ostati strogo varovana državna skrivnost. Njegovo delo je bistveno pripomoglo k skrajšanju druge svetovne vojne in rešilo številna življenja, stroj, ki ga je iznašel, pa velja za prototip sodobnega računalnika. Leta 1952 so Turinga aretirali in obsodili zaradi homoseksualnosti. Dve leti kasneje je naredil samomor.
