Epically mediocreThe second movie is more of a "WAR." The trailers, posters and build up of this movie touts a battle that never comes. The apes are captured easily and spend most of the movie trying to excape from the jail in scenes VERY reminiscent of the other two movies. So riminiscent in fact, it just feels warmed over and already done. The apes excaped from places worse than this before. The final battle doesn't even involve the apes, rather the humans battle each other in a CGI BS fest. I was dissapointed in this movie. The second Ape movie was 1000 better in my opinion. The scene pictured above with 1000s of apes being led to battle never happens. Not a fan. Sorry..Ronin SherpaScore: 3/5

Sci-fi can be insightful entertainment too!At its core, this technically groundbreaking film says something quite profound! It reveals how the sublimation of overwhelming pain and fear into revengeful hate, makes monsters of us all; and how by acknowledging that pain in ourselves and others, we can relate more to each other’s lives... no matter what species! By doing so, we regain the connection to our own caring feelings - and develop our humanity. This is a story we need to get, especially now! And all within the visually stunning trappings of an engrossing sci-fi drama! Thoughtfully written and extremely well acted. An epic drama, not an action filmThis was very much a character/story driven film where, while action played a huge part, it wasn't based around that. This movie blew my mind, it was absolutely incredible, and a perfect ending to a perfect trilogy, may by my favourite of them. The cinematography, the acting, the direction, THE VISUALS!!!!!! Deutsch Der Krieg, den Koba mit den von der Seuche stark dezimierten Menschen angezettelt hat, ist in vollem Gange. Slovenčina Vojna o planétu opíc začína dva roky po udalostiach predchádzajúcej snímky Úsvit planéty opíc. Z inteligentného šimpanza Caesara sa stal nespochybniteľný vodca rozrastajúceho sa spoločenstva opíc. V novej snímke je mu okolnosťami vnútená nová rola vojnového generála. Situácia opičieho klanu, ktorý vedie Caesar je katastrofálna. Ich skupina ustúpila do lesov, kde sa často stretávajú v bitkách s armádou tvorenou ľudmi, vedenou neľútostným plukovníkom McCulloughom.
