Happy Hunting follows Warren, a degenerate drifter, suffering from debilitating alcohol withdrawals on a daily basis. On his way down to Mexico, he becomes stranded in Bedford Flats, a one-horse town nestled deep in the American desert. It was a once-prosperous hunting community that has been reduced to an impoverished dust bowl. Unfortunately for Warren, it turns out that the town’s pastime is rounding up drifters and hunting them as part of an elaborate sporting event. To make matters worse, he’ll go into alcoholic withdrawal unless he finds a way to stay loaded. It all builds to a blood-soaked, live-or-die showdown deep in the desert.
An alcoholic drifter must battle withdrawal and psychotic rednecks after he becomes the target of a deranged sporting event.

Simply brilliant!Directing - fantastic Casting - phenomenal! Acting - awesome! Writing - brilliant Pacing - perfect Fx - great Entertainment value - amazing! One of the best films I've seen in awhile and it seems that there has been a real drought of great thriller flicks lately. A well told story that holds your attention, really puts you in that town and keeps you held until the last few minutes. Highly entertaining flick! A definite rent and if you collect movies or tend to buy a lot of them, just skip the rent and purchase straight away. Well worth it!.Score: 5/5

Definitely worth checking out!I figured I was in for a cliche inbreds hunting out of towners stereotype but was very surprised by how much more it was! There were a lot of twists and action in the film and as much as I didn't want to root for the main character (excellently acted as a "good" bad guy) I found myself overlooking his flaws and doing just that. Hooked from start to finish and definitely recommend to anyone who likes a suspenseful thriller..Score: 5/5
