Following the mind-bending HEAVEN KNOWS WHAT, celebrated filmmakers Josh and Ben Safdie return to the mean streets of New York City with GOOD TIME, a hypnotic crime thriller that explores with bracing immediacy the tragic sway of family and fate. After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine Nikas (Robert Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city's underworld in an increasingly desperate—and dangerous—attempt to get his brother out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Constantine finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance. Anchored by a career-defining performance from Robert Pattinson, GOOD TIME is a psychotic symphony of propulsive intensity crafted by two of the most exciting young directors working today. Josh and Ben Safdie’s transcendent vision is an intoxicating portrait of desperation and destruction that will not be soon forgotten.
Are you ready for a Good Time?. After a heist goes awry, a bank robber tries to free his brother from Rikers Island, all in one night.
Not for entertainment only. Not for any one that is looking for a movie that requires no thought. Not for anyone looking to escape the real world. I highly recommend this movie for anyone looking for a story based in the real world. The actors are engaged in their role which is something lacking in the entertainment world. Very well done. The actors should be lauded for their efforts. And the producers and directors deserve as much credit for their efforts.
The movie was entertaining. If you are entertained by people who are down and out and their world is getting even worse.
A fairly decent script elevated by top notch acting by all. Everyone gives a superb performance, including the bit players like the therapist and the grandma who has one line in the movie and yet creates a complete character from that one line. The acting is really credible by everyone in the movie. A stand out movie , much more interesting than any comic book garbage we been getting lately!
waste of precious time.
86%? What movie were you watching. But then again you gave snowman a 6% . Nuff said
