Alice is a rational-minded sleep doctor, haunted by demons of her past. While performing an examination on a traumatized family with sleeping problems, Alice is attacked by the father in his sleep. After he is arrested and blamed for causing the family’s sleep issues, the problems get progressively worse. Alice is forced to abandon scientific rationale and accept that the family is being terrorized by a parasitic demon who feeds on the weak while they sleep.

Pretty NonsensicalGood premise, weak execution. This felt like a script that had gone through too many rewrites. It had forced elements that made little or no sense. Lots of improbabilities as well, a family experiencing a sleep haunting sees a doctor who also experienced traumatic sleep trauma as a child, but what good luck—the janitor knows all about these night hags as his Dad suffered from them. When Faith returns, the experiment is incomplete, Griffin finds that only his skin has become invisible, and the two struggle to complete the process. Griffin is now invisible, but the formula is unstable and can cause mental deterioration. Faith tells Griffin that she has rejected Hagens and commits herself romantically to him. Griffin uses his invisibility to exact revenge on Steven for murdering his son. Steven’s death is at the cost of his sanity. Griffin begins a descent into madness, allowing an imagined affair on the part of Faith to have a final confrontation between Faith and Hagens that leads to tragic consequences.
