Boring!Dude gets to know neighbors.....neighbors wife is attractive and likes to smoke but he likes to drink and argue and hit his wife. Dude finds out and tries to help, neighbor is drunk and gets mad and hits dude then dude hits neighbor with golf club and he dies....the end..Score: 2/5
Drama, not thriller.I actually liked this movie, and it's a great acting job done by William Fichtner. But its advertising is totally wrong - "Danger lives next door?" - ridiculous and so not-fitting to this movie. So I'm not surprised that some people are disappointed, having expected some kind of stalker thrill. This is totally different - a very subtle, well-done movie about a midlife crisis and all of its consequences..Score: 4/5
Haunting.Great film. It is subtle and not a typical thriller with lots of action, its almost more of a suburban gothic. Bill Fichtner carries the film by coming across as so likable but a little unhinged at moments. I actually think the weakest point is Michael Rosenbaum who plays the part of the friendly and sort of obnoxious guy next door well enough but who lacks intensity in the moments where it matters. HIs anger feels surface level and going a little deeper would've really helped hold this film together..Score: 4/5

Slow burnIf Hitchcock filmed in the suburbs...the suspense ratchets up slowly but relentlessly, as we root for the protaganist to take a step back. Great quartet of performances from William Fichtner, Jessica Mcnamee, Michael Rosenbaum and Jean Louisa Kelly, whose characters each see the same escalating situation from a very different perspective..Score: 5/5
