The story of humble London businessman Quan (Chan), whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love - his teenage daughter - is taken from him in a senseless act of politically-motivated terrorism. In his relentless search for the identity of the terrorists, Quan is forced into a cat- and-mouse conflict with a British government official (Brosnan), whose own past may hold clues to the identities of the elusive killers.

Not too shabby actually.
Jackie is and will always be my favorite actor/human being. The man nails this performance like none other. People want to talk about this not being a "Chan" movie. That was the point. He was tired of doing action/comedy and this movie did it for him. He has always been known as a martial artist who could act. When in fact he is an actor who happens to know martial arts. I throughly enjoyed this movie and for anyone who loves Jackie for his acting and not just his martial arts...Watch this movie!
Much more than an action film or drama. It’s my favorite of anything he has ever done.
I was expecting the whole usual plot but was I ever surprised. The storyline & plot takes you way off the beaten path. Lots of unexpected twists here.
Absolutely great movie and plot. Cinematically well done.
Don't believe the bad reviews or the low Rotten Tomato score. Unless you're a simple-minded idiot who only likes "action" films for the explosions, then you will likely find the film to be quite good.
It smacks a little of a Liam Neeson reboot, but the story is good and the characters make smart decisions to deepen the drama instead of opting for an opportunity for a headshot. It was entertaining.
First I really upset about that happen But end of it is finishing nice i like it
Love Jackie, but not here. For a supposed thriller it's weirdly tepid and monotonous. Aggrieved vengeance-seeking father is not a good role for Jackie. And the whole business with the IRA feels out of date, like it was a script sitting around for 30 years. (Not a very good one, either.)
My favorite Jackie Chan Movie! It’s well made. Good plot.
