MOLLY’S GAME is based on the true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey, who learned that there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led us to believe.

Well narrated.I've been in the industry more than two decades, so a lot of these characters I actuallly recognize. It's the first poker-related movie I've been able to stomach since Rounders, and it's brilliant. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire movie and the narrative moved me forward. EntertainingA good movie yet the style was a bit to similar to prior films, acting was spot on. The ending seemed a little rushed. The scene on the park bench after the skating sequence towards thee end seemed to be misplaced. And don’t get me started on the court scene, shots at wall street seemed unseasonably out of place, focus on the film and all the substance that it held. Great movie!!!One of the most satisfying movies I have seen. The movie is somewhat predictable, however the scene pacing and cinematography keeps you engaged the whole movie. One star reduction for the length of the father’s and attorney monologues.
