In this hilarious twist on the superhero movie, super villain Megamind’s (Will Ferrell) dreams have come true when he conquers the city’s protector, Metro Man (Brad Pitt), gaining control of Metro City. But when a new villain (Jonah Hill) is created and chaos runs rampant, the world’s biggest “mind” and his comic sidekick might actually save the day.

After Megamind, a highly intelligent alien supervillain, defeats his long-time nemesis Metro Man, Megamind creates a new hero to fight, but must act to save the city when his "creation" becomes an even worse villain than he was.

Great Animated Film!*(Spoilers Ahead)* I’m glad I finally got around to watching Megamind,I didn’t know how good it was and so many little details in it..From Metro-Man’s retirement of being a hero and wanting to be a musician:I interpreted as the hero may not always want to do “hero-y” things/be the hero anymore per say..Maybe they want to try other things in life too just like non super-powered beings..The hero may have a mid life crisis of their own..Someone else may have to step up to the plate to become the new hero. Megamind going from a villain to a anti-hero and than to the city’s hero was nice to see..It was a change considering usually the hero swoops in to save the day and the villain watches on the side lines or flees.. Metro-Man didn’t want to intervene with the Titan conflict so Megamind had to step up to save everyone. And finally the actual main villain/secondary villain of the movie,Titan:He’s such a disturbing villain honestly..Take a guy who’s deeply obsessed with his coworker,cannot handle rejection,cares only about what he wants,thinks he’s an awesome guy but really is a creepy,boundary-pusher and give him super-powers..A recipe for a literal disaster as seen in the movie..Where he takes Roxanne to the top of the tower and keeps trying to guilt her into dating him was intense. I think this movie could be a good watch to help young people decipher toxic traits some people can have..Like show of an example on to be weary of people trying to manipulate you/are obsessive of you and won’t take no for an answer..Also maybe apply the warnings to ourselves/younger people and check ourselves to learn to not develop toxic traits/be A Hal to someone..That and just because you have powers like Superman/everything in the world won’t mean you’ll be a good person deep down.. Of course,this movie has other good lessons too..Overall,I found this film to be really enjoyable and very funny as well..JaydellBScore: 5/5
