Cassie (Rosemarie DeWitt, La La Land) is a real estate agent and single mom struggling to keep it all together during the housing crisis of 2009. Her problems go from bad to worse when disgruntled client Sonny (Danny McBride, Pineapple Express) violently confronts Cassie’s boss and then kidnaps Cassie – making one outrageously bad, and bloody, decision after another. Things completely spiral out of control in this explosive action comedy, also starring Luke Wilson (Idiocracy), Kaitlin Olson (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), David Alan Grier (“The Carmichael Show”) and Elizabeth Gillies (“Dynasty”).
Set in the midst of the 2009 housing crisis, the life of Cassie Fowler, a single mother and struggling realtor, goes off the rails when she witnesses a murder.

Trying to be a dark comedy....FAILThis movie had promise, great actors, pretty women that made me finish watching it because they were nice to look at. The director sucked so the movie sucked. Misleading trailersWe bought this movie based on the trailers for a fun movie night. Boy did we feel mislead. The movie has no clue what it wants to be. Advertised as a comedy, the overall story is more disturbing than funny, and even as a huge fan of "dark comedies", this was just wasn't funny. Don't believe the trailers..Score: 2/5

False AdvertisementThe trailer highlighted the funny parts. However, they run out after 30 minutes. This is actually a chase movie where a psychotic killer murders and destroys. Because he is crazy, he cannot understand his role in it. This stupidity of the victims is difficult to take..Score: 2/5
A tense and fun rompIf you enjoyed some of Danny McBride’s previous work, like HBO’s Vice Principals, this movie strikes a similar tone with a tense edge. The backdrop of the late ‘00s housing crisis is an interesting set up, the characters, even the minor ones are enjoyable, in particular Kaitlin Olson and Elizabeth Gillies, who manage to take their limited screen time and add another layer to Danny McBride’s role as with the former, and inject a surprising amount of depth into their own as with the latter. Without spoiling too much the deaths are all very abrupt and not overly drawn out or excessively gruesome, and the last 20 minutes or so are enjoyably tense. The movie is a brisk ride that doesn’t overstay it’s welcome!.Score: 5/5

Remove rotten tomatoesI like danny mcbride’s humor, like in vice principals. This is a kinda dark comedy that reminds me sometimes the tones of the tv show fargo. It wont be remember, dont watchit to be blown away, but i really enjoyed it!
