Just average. Not sure why this has been so overhyped. Typical Hollywood fluff which explains why it made all its money in America and the rest of the world was smart enough to avoid
I love these sorts of movies but thought although the first half was great and fabulous Lady Gaga was brilliant, the second half was less believable and feels weighed down by Bradley Coopers characters’ descent. It’s drawn out and lacks something only good is Sam Elliot’s character who should be more emphasised in the first half. Anyway. It’s ok but falls a little flat towards the end.
Believe all the hype, this movie is awesome! from the performances, to the production, the chemistry and then there's the soundtrack! Well done to all involved. When I first heard about it I thought it woud be good but it went well beyond my expectations! I enjoyed it more than I thought I was going to. A new found respect for Cooper and GaGa- such talents! For a story that has been now made into 4 movies, this version has such a freshness, even after multiple viewings! Watch this movie!
I’d rather go through childbirth than have wasted my time watching this shocking excuse for a movie. The acting was shocking, so forced and ZERO connection. The saddest fact is all the rave reviews this trash is getting.... do yourself a favour and watch a movie where people can act and convey a narrative where the audience feels empathy.
I watch 3 times at the Theatres. Cried ever time. Knew every song by word before the movie off the Soundtrack. Pre-ordered the digital movie on iTunes and watching it for the 7th time now. I can’t get enough and haven’t been this obsessed since MJ’s This Is It. Yes it is a fraction long but who gives, I don’t get bored at all watching over and over. Next is the DVD copy so I can watch in the car. Awesome movie ⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️
I saw it 4 times in the cinemas and it is such a beautiful story I love this movie (and the soundtrack) so so much. Can’t wait to buy it 😍
A remake of a remake of a remake. One star for originality.
Such a powerful film, the cast is fantastic and Gaga serves incredible vocals.
This movie did not come threw for me. Much over hyped.
An emotional movie, a great look at alcoholism, brought together and made believable by incredible acting
Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut is truly a testament to the depth of his talent- raw, emotional and powerful - a straightforward plot combined with layers of complex emotions that forces the audience to feel what the movie invokes from within.Lady Gaga matched this with her authenticity and sang her heart out. Best movie i have watched in a long time.
Such a beautiful movie! By far the best film I have ever seen, such amazing voices also.
