It Did The Impossible—It’s Worse Than The FirstSomehow even with better direction, cinematography and overall aesthetics, New Moon manages to be worse than its predecessor. Must have something to do with its dull, boring narrative and yet another seizure-inducing “performance” from Kristen Stewart. Hey, at least it’s faithful to its source material. It’s equally as soulless. All this comes to when comparing the sequel to the first film is that while still terrible, the first film at least had some entertainment value (because of how bad it is, but whatever. At least the first one made you laugh at its awfulness. This one is just painfully boring.)
