From the imagination of Wizarding World creator J.K. Rowling comes the Fantastic Beasts film series, magical adventures set before the time of Harry Potter. At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
Fate of One. Future of All.. Gellert Grindelwald has escaped imprisonment and has begun gathering followers to his cause—elevating wizards above all non-magical beings. The only one capable of putting a stop to him is the wizard he once called his closest friend, Albus Dumbledore. However, Dumbledore will need to seek help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Wiki
No entiendo como a otros no les gusto.! esta película está fenomenal. conocer lo que pasó antes de que llegara Harry es genial mas q tiene q ver con eso la historia de como fue antes todo... siempre seré Fans de JK... sus libros son lo máximo
Best movie ever.
Formulaic and lame, I thought it would never end.
Was very boring. At some points you wanted to fall asleep. Would only recommend if you want a good nap.
Film is ok, not great. Should be better than the first one of the series. Also, Jude Law as young Dumbledore just doesn’t seem to work. Bad casting choice. Too much action scenes and poor storytelling. Maybe this is good for new audiences but not for the WW fans.
Movie was great! I really enjoyed it. It is the start of what is meant to happen! I can not wait for the 3rd movie to come out. I think alot of the questions I have will be answered then.
So, some movies you just get pulled in. It could be half an hour long or two hours. But this is one of those movies where you just get engrossed, and to me it seems like no time has passed. There is a lot of bad reviews, but they are not true. This movie is the best movie I have ever seen. (Along with the first one.) I just made a discovery that maybe a lot of people or not many have seen. Isn’t Credence a Dumbledore? Dumbledore said earlier in the movie, “it’s a tradition in my family, that a Phoenix comes to any member in need.” Near the end of the movie, we see that Credence has a little Phoenix in his hand. I was like; WHAT?!?!??!!????!!!!??
Just... Just no. This movie was like a ear wax flavored jelly bean that looked like a pineapple one. The camera was being moved WAY to much and it's like the people who made this movie had ten different ideas, smooshed them together, then got lazy and gave up on the movie. What WERE the crimes of Grindelwald??? Will we ever know in a new movie, or will we be left falling off that senseless cliffhanger at the end? I am disappointed and unsatisfied in my hard earned money was wasted on this train wreck.
This, for me, is the Empire Strikes Back of Fantastic Beasts. It’s significantly darker in tone than the first, and a lot more serious. The original cast is back at it again and they rock. And it was AWSOME to see Hogwarts again. Took me back to watching Harry Potter, which honestly I’ll take over Fantastic Beasts any day. But hey, I’m not talking about HP. Ezra Miller does a good job, and he looks better than he did before, but his best work will always be The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Jude Law is an awesome Dumbledore. And Leta Lestrange was kinda cool, but I think they focused a little more on her than Grindelwald. I liked this one, but I liked the first one better. But hey, we gotta find out if we ever get Queenie back, so... guess we’ll see in 2020... or 2021. Maybe.
Dang, I love Harry Potter and the main guy in this doesn't seem cis, but Johnny Depp is abusive and should be in jail, not on screen.
