Jennifer Lopez stars as Maya, a 40-year-old woman struggling with frustrations from unfulfilled dreams. Until, that is, she gets the chance to prove to Madison Avenue that street smarts are as valuable as book smarts, and that it is never too late for a Second Act.
second act (2018) - peter segal synopsis will be updates..
Good but... I really enjoyed this film. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I didn't have to suffer through the early scenes with Lopez' unbelievebly low cut tops. The suprise party scene was almost unwatchable because of this. It really took away from the substance of the film for me.
Gave a few laughs Decent movie
Typical Jlo I enjoy the same typical, romantic comedy jlo movie. This was meh, the editing was so choppy and lazy. I felt I either missed something or the movie just wasn’t complete.
Absolutely wonderful I love it. J Lo is awesome. Yes some of it is predictable but still really enjoyed it. Really funny parts and a wonderful story of her reconnecting with her past.
Depressing movie The previews implied this was a fun romantic comedy. This is a depressing drama with no plot. I’m glad I only wasted.99 to watch this movie.
Great Message and Terrific Acting Looking for a “life” and redemption movie that promotes good values and character building? This is it. Terrific acting and feel good movie that should be rated much higher. Highly recommended and certainly worth the money - but more importantly your time.
Great actors, silly plot Jennifer Lopez is a fine actress. There is a major twist in the plot which gives the movie some added energy. However, the plot is over-fabricated. I guess you just have to suspend disbelief and enjoy the laughs along the way.
Jennifer can’t act I don’t know how she gets movies. Horrible actress
Love it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
okay, not great wouldn’t watch again, it was very predictable
