Not What I Thought It WasI have been wanting to see this movie since I saw the second trailer for it and it wasn’t what I thought it was. I thought it was gonna be like the Exorcist because of the bathtub scene (where the boy asks his mom what’s wrong with him) and because it involves a specialist who attempts an exorcism on this boy who was possessed by a foreign spirit. I liked most of it but some parts were just too much for me like when the father lashes out due to his son’s disturbing and uncontrollable behavior. Overall, this was an ok movie (I usually like these types of movies with scary kids) but I wouldn’t see it again..Score: 3/5

Not Scary, Not unique in ANY way.......Like another reviewer stated, "It has been done a thousand times". Yep, and it is so predictable that I knew the dialogue before the actors said it! Did Jason Blum direct this or is it the new Omen?The Prodigy was one of the most boring yet confusing horror films i have seen all year. People need to stop comparing this film to the Omen and the Bad Seed two one-dimensonal good horror films that are both well-written and executed. The prodigy breaks the rules of horror films and cliches and instead making a hailriously bad horror film is fine i guess...this is nothing new or interesting you can skip this film no matter how bad it is you will still be proud of yourself not watching "The Prodigy".Score: 2/5
