The Battle Olympia tournament at Heaven's Arena is about to begin! Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio plan on watching the matches with the other Hunters and VIPs in attendance. As they wait, a raid by The Shadow ends the festivities. Skilled fighters fall one by one to their terrifying ability called On, a dark power derived from malice. When their leader Jed captures Netero and declares death to all Hunters in the name of vengeance, Gon and Killua rush to defeat him!
Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission Film Synopsis
Isaac Netero is the chairman of the Hunter Association. Decades ago he sealed away Jed, a Hunter who had mastered the use of On, the dark "shadow" of Nen. Now On users have reappeared at the Heaven's Arena "Battle Olympia" tournament. For Netero, this is the last mission: to protect the Association and the world from a threat driven by hatred and the thirst for revenge. And he's going to need all the help he can get in order to succeed.

Nederlands Op een dag komt Kurapika zijn oude vriend Pyro tegen. Het is geen onschuldig weerzien, want Pyro steelt de ogen van Kurapika met een magische kracht. Gon, Killua en Leorio proberen Kurapika’s ogen terug te krijgen, maar tegelijkertijd heeft Killua ook zijn eigen problemen. Killua is zijn hele leven lang geïndoctrineerd door zijn broer, die op hem heeft ingepraat dat vriendschap binnen hun professie niet mogelijk is. Hierdoor begint Killua te twijfelen over de echtheid van zijn vriendschap met Gon.
