How not to train your Dragon- This movie comes across as an apology for the previous movies. Sorry we trained all these Dragons, Now lets get rid of them all. In a couple Generations the Dragons are going to be back to raiding the village again. Everything they built up before is all ignored. Building up their defense, training. preparing to defend the island. All of it is just thrown away.

Paradoxne práve láska sa stane predzvesťou mrakov, ktoré sa nad Berkom začnú sťahovať. Štikút je v tom nevinne, môže za to rozkošná biela dračica, ktorá doslova omráči Bezzubého, ktorý sa pod jej vplyvom premení z obávaného Nočného Besa na neistého puberťáka. Možno aj preto včas vo vzduchu neucíti nebezpečenstvo pre všetkých drakov, ktoré sa k brehom ostrova blíži. V snahe nájsť pre ne nové útočisko sa Štikút a Astrid vydávajú pátrať po mýtmi ospevovanom Skrytom svete, v ktorom by sa všetci draci mohli pred touto hrozbou ukryť. Nájdu ho? A nájdu ho včas?
