Genius!Whoever wrote this story is a true genius. The depth and oddity of the storyline was something that I could never encounter in a million lifetimes. Just imagining all the work that went into learning those complex roles shows that the actors were geniuses as well. Their performances captivated like no other movie or story has ever done. Hard to put into words my surpriseA surprising story about friendship, compassion, love, genius, madness, belonging, rejection, forgiveness, and redemption. These two particular actors, Gibson and Penn, whose own real life dramas must have provided a certain gravitas in the portrayal of their characters, seemed to be searching for their own personal redemption in the end.
