Hunted by mysterious forces, a young woman (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) with supernatural abilities must go on the run when her powers are discovered. With nowhere else to go, she flees back to her family and the farmhouse she abandoned long ago. There, while being pursued by the local Sheriff (David Strathairn), she begins to mend the broken relationships with her mother (Lorraine Toussaint) and daughter (Saniyya Sidney) and unearths the depths of the power within her.

Amazing!I love this movie. Everyone was amazing especially Gugu, Lorraine, and the young Saniyya. This definitely deserves to be seen by a wider audience, because it just deserves the love. I don't know if there's going to be another movie, but I would love one. I would also take an expansion on the Fast Color universe in any way that I can get it..Score: 5/5

Coma inducingI clearly watched a different movie from the other reviewers. The plotline was DOA matched only by slowness to the point of obsurdatiy. I guess the whole thing was meant to be a metaphore for something but I have absolutly no clue what? I can only imagine this was someones vantiy project? It's not all bad though - anyone struggling with insomnia NEEDS THIS MOVIE! It's gaurenteed to have you back in the land of nod in no time..Score: 1/5

Exceptional Acting and Good Movie!The movie is a wonderful low-budget movie. This is not a popcorn movie, it is a drama with sci-fi/fantasy thrown in. Well done - but hoping there’s another movie to followReally a great movie - story is great, acting is good, the mystery part also kept it intriguing. The ending though left me wondering and wanting to know what is next, and also there are some unanswered questions. So agreeing with one of the other reviewers on here - I hope there’s more to come bc I want to know more and also see the main characters take the next step in their development/story! Also, major props for centering the story entirely around black women and not sinking into “typical” roles and storylines..Score: 4/5
