Dani and Christian are a young American couple with a relationship on the brink of falling apart. Slow but a beautiful and amazing movie!First off watch the directors cut! As one reviewer said “great break up movie” well it is! As well as everything else that goes into it!! Be patient and just enjoy it for what it is. It’s not a horror film so beware. More of a drama to me, but underrated and outstanding!!.Score: 4/5

One of the best Horror movies I have ever seen. Seriously!Great cinematography and I like the idea of filming the scenes so it feels like its just all happening within one day, even though the main story takes place over nine days. Really creepy score and nicely written script, as well. The acting is quite good and I seem to understand the philosophy of the Harga Community about Life and Death as a cycle of rejuvenation. Florence Pugh should get an award for her performance in this film, as her character is put through so much grief and she acts accordingly. Like I said, this is one of the best Horror Movies I have ever seen. I'm not kidding. On a more personal note, I should mention that the director's cut is great, but there are some minor technical problems with it only being released as an iTunes Extra. First off, I noticed that there are no subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing on the Director's Cut. While I am not deaf, I am a little hard of hearing and it is hard to hear some of the dialogue and understand it in the Director's Cut. Also, I would prefer it to be part of the file that you download to the computer, since it appears that you can only stream the Director's Cut. As a result of not being able to download it, like the theatrical cut on iTunes, I have to always restart the movie right from the beginning and go through the whole depressing opening of Dani's sister committing murder-suicide. If you are reading this, people at iTunes, please correct this problem. I would greatly appreciate it. Despite the technical problems with the Director's Cut, this is seriously one of the best Horror Films I have seen. Keep 'em coming, Ari Aster!.Score: 5/5

This movie is hauntingly unsettlingAri Aster movies are a hit-or-miss for me. This was definitely a hit. I was surprised that this movie struck me as it did. Yes, it seems to be an homage to such films as the Wicker Man. However, where the Wicker Man fell flat (and it was pretty unleavened for me) this movie soars. Florence Pugh is brilliant and brings such power and raw emotion to the role. Yes, it’s really long - does it need to be so long? Not sure, but it builds the suspense and anxiety beautifully. I would recommend this movie to people who who enjoy folk/gothic type horror..Score: 5/5
